Most of the woes would vanish into thin air after disconnecting the negative terminal of the battery and reconnecting it after ten minutes. Try that, if you had not done that already. If this does not help, delete the present user phone settings and repair it once again. Similarly, try with a different pen-drive.

I had a similar problem a couple of months back.
Perhaps it happened because I had just added some music to the pen-drive.
    The problem resolved itself after:
    (a) I deleted the newly added music from the pen-drive.
    (b) I disconnected the negative terminal and reconnected it after about eight hours. I did this based on the advice of Vahan-Pujari. Before giving me this advice, I remember him asking me if the kilometre reading on the display blinked. In my case, it did not.
(A little earlier I had tried reconnecting it after about ten minutes - but that had not worked in my case).

Blue and Me / Media Player issues

My problem is somewat strange the usb , freshly formatted with no garbage data inserted to usb port only works for 2 - 3 start stop cycles ,after that the songs play but you cannot browse through the folders. have been having this issue for 2 years now. Yes, disconnecting the - ve terminal/ refreshing the usb(adding more songs) does reset the console/ regenerate the playlist and able to recognise the usb again but works only for 2 ,3 times.

Recently i found that the amplifier's negative cable was not conducting properly and after i completely disconnected the amplifier , refreshed the usb and added somemore songs for the system to reload the playlist, the thing works and am able to browse through the song list. Anybody else facing this similar issue ? What was the workaround?

I have a problem with my USB. All the songs are not detected by the Media Player. I tried to format my pen drive to 'FAT' and then copied the songs. Still the problem persists. I faced the same kind of issue with my earlier Punto too. Does anyone have this problem and know how to get it corrected?

This problem could be due to the bit rate of the mp3.

No. Even its not so. If I have 5-6 song files in a folder with the same bit rate, only 1 or 2 files are detected by the Player.

I did check it and mine is V5.5.

Just check whether the ID3 tags are proper for songs that are not playing. You can use http://www.mp3tag.de/en/ for checking/editing the tags. Another option is to create a play list from the Windows Media Player and use it from the Blue&Me menu. Let me know if any of these options work.
