On many days/nights, I just leave the USB stick connected to Blue&Me. When I start my Linea later, it just resumes from the place where it had stopped. If I have to remove it, I do that after switching off the ignition.

Pretty much the same case with me; but I am forced to remove the USB when I face this issue.

I play songs from the Playlist. When I opt for random, I find the song played and the one displayed MID from the playlist don't match. In this case, I need to remove the USB, refresh it and then reinsert so that the Playlist is again built by Blue&Me. Not sure if any of you have faced this issue, and/or have a solution.

    Trouble with Blue & me

    To all Linea friends:

I am facing a trouble with my Blue and Me for some time and now could guess one of the possible reasons and would like your help:

    The Fact :

From the beginning, in most cases, when a new mssg arrives while driving , the Blue & me asks me whether to read it out and then it does when prompted. But some times, my mobile rings to tell a mssg has arrived, but the B&M keeps quiet. In this 2nd situation, if a call comes next, my mobile rings and the Blue & me still keeps quiet. Not able to understand what to do, I pick up my mobile, and then try to speak, but it will not allow, since the handsfree system is still activated. Even if I try to make a call from the B&M, the ring goes but gets disconnected as soon as someone picks up. In summary, all the time the B&M misbehaves was preceded by a SMS coming in but the reverse is not true, ie all mssgs has not led to the problem in B&M.

Was looking for an answer and found one more fact: My mobile is set for storing the SMS in the phone memory. But as soon as it gets paired up with the B&M, the storing gets changed automatically to the SIM. Since the SIM memory is too less, I need to keep changing the mobile setting back to the phone memory everytime i come out of the car. But not able to understand whether this has got a linkage to the problem with the B&M of my car too.

I am wondering whether it is the problem with my mobile (Micromax Q75) or my car.

Has anyone faced this problem? Any idea what this is all about and how to get this sorted out?

Try resetting the Blue N Me by removing the -ve terminal from battery for 5 mins.
If it still doesn't work properly then it's a problem due to buggy software of Micromax mobile. (Not following standards of blue-tooth connection)

    Hi Donzerus & Kaps,

I too leave the USB stick connected all the time. However, in my opinion, when removing a stick it is better to use voice commands <Media> <Stop>. It will respond <Playback stopped>. Then the USB stick can be removed. If you remove the stick with the system off, the media library that is built by the system could get messed up. In my opinion, the media library built up by the system remains in memory. That is probably how the music from the USB drive recommences from the place where you had switched off.

This is also my interpretation of what the manual says on Page 33. In case my interpretation is incorrect, I will be glad to be given the correct information.

    Johnny
