Blue & Me Software Version update & All other queries

    Update 5.4.11 is to add Bluetooth Compatibility for some newer generation Handsets and for adding the DRM compatibility for iPods & iPhones.

    iPhone doesn't work at all with the previous version, since both iPhone & iTouch use DRM based media library and cannot be used a disk drive. So anyone planning to use either of these devices would need to upgrade to 5.4.11 and would also need the Blue & Me adapter.

    If your handset gets paired easily or if you have iPod (Nano, Shuffle & Classic), do not upgrade to 5.4.11

    If I remember, Amogh's iPhone connects very well with B&M since very beginning whereas some other's iPhones are not getting connected. There are some versions of iPhone (I forgot the technical jargon) connects (without updation to 5.4.11) & some do not connect.

    my iPhone never connected with the Blue & Me. Finally I had to shell out 79 GBP :A :A to get the Blue & Me adapter and upgrade to 5.4.11. Now I can enjoy all the music on my iPhone :clap :clap

    I dont use an Ifone so not very keen in updating the firmaware.

    I have updated. i had a problem of media player not reading either the USB drive or phoen connected to usb. even my e-51 was not synching the phonebook with bnm. So I updated (3-4 weeks ago), now the problems are sorted out. Thoght I would share with you guys.

    gotta know this now... If i encounter the problems with Media Player henceforthe the solution would be an update...:)

    Blue N Me 5.5 is released. It is available for download on fiat international site fiat.it
    MM Not resuming from the song that was played before shutting off is fixed. Don't know about other changes.

    Yes I have installed it
    No problems with it. Works as it is supposed to work.
