Narayan this is not a problem it's designed that way by Fiat.
pioneeraaron you can reset by disconnecting -ve terminal from battery for 5 mins. Transcend pendrives works fine in Blue N Me

    Issue with Blue&Me

    Hi,
I am using a Transcend 8GB USB card for storing and playing my music. All are mp3 files only and stored in different folders. For e.g. English classics would be stored in a folder by name "English Classic" and similarly film music would be stored in folder by name "Hindi Films", "Tamil Films" etc. Naming convention for the songs is of the following type - "# - Song Name - Album Name - Artist" (read as Song number - Song name - Album Name - Artist).

I am facing the following issue with Blue&Me Media Player.

    1. I am unable to play anything from the playlist. I have tried both forms of playlist - m3u as well as wpl. Playlist was generated using the "Playlist Creator 3.6.2" software. It does not seem to work at all. Media Player says bad playlist.
    2. When I choose a "Folder" and select "Play All", the Media Player does not navigate to the next song at all. It just repeats current song continuously. Manual intervention is required to move to the next song.

Any help in this regard is really appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Livelyyoungman

This problem could be solved by selecting 'Loop off' from the Blue&Me menu from the steering control or voice command, Settings>MediaPlayer>Loop>Off.

    Re: Issue with Blue&Me

    livelyyoungman, answers below:

    1. Most play list makers institute the drive letter (f:\my music\...) before the song name in the playlist. Media Player 5.5 can't recognise this if the drive letter is changed from your PC to car and hence the playlist is not recognised. You require a generic playlist maker, something like Advanced Playlist Builder. It is free and is available here http://www.wizetech.com/apb/ . This program doesn't include drive letter in the list so media player will recognise the playlist. Playlist is created in both m3u and wpl as per your preference.

    2. Already explained by Ravi above.

Blue N Me recognizes playlist created using Winamp and Windows Media Player perfectly.

@Ravi: Thanks for the update. Before I created a new one I was indeed contemplating on adding to this thread, but just felt otherwise at the last moment.
@J Ravi: Yes. I was aware of the looping stuff that you have mentioned. During initial setup, I had turned it "Off". Not sure how it reverted to "On" status. May be the upgrade to V5.5 did that damage. I was so sure that it was "Off" that I never bothered to check it. Thanks for the help.
@Kaps: The drive letters are not hard coded in the playlist created by the "Playlist Creator 3.6.2" software. But I noticed that the encoded path for a song is slightly different from the one created by most of the other software. So that is the culprit. After editing the playlist in lines to the one that is created by WinAmp, I am able to play all the songs from the playlist. Thanks for your assistance.

Keep the button you use to pick up phone call pressed for some time.
