You would need to keep the phone paired with B & M, Go on to the steering mounted controls and press the phone button. You should get a list of options by pressing the up/down arrows, Select the media player and you should be able to play the songs.

 

Oh, then it isn't feeling good to understand that it doesn't work that way with iPhones. ( but few posts do refer it works with new gen iPod touch, so iphone too should be on the same league right? Okay, now atleast I should be able to charge it right;? Not being able to even do so is really sad! Not sure of my memory but I wonder if it used to work (charging thru dash USB) when I first time iplugged in my iPhone and thereafter never saw it getting charged! 

Yeah, I stay at Narayanapuram, just b4 Pallikaranai , on th way from Velachery to Tambaram. Next time u spot me do wink; I mean flash ur lights; I almost do it religiously whenever I spot fiats around- if my hands r free

iPhone doesn't charge whilst connected to the USB port directly. You would certainly need the adapter, now that iPod touch & iPod works without the adapter someone might be able to sell you that adapter. I think it's a must have accessory.

Next time I spot a exotic blue sure I'll flash my lights. I do flash my lights whenever I see a fiat on road haven't got any response so far. I think you met nskumar and not jummu , we shall meet for sure. Planing to start a thread for yelagiri meet maybe along with Bangalore guys.

 

Yeah, I met nsk and linealover for the meet. But I was referring to 'hearing about Jumu' and also reg you 'teky' from them. . Apart from that I have talked to Jumu a couple of times over phone too...

Sorry mate Blue N Me doesn't support A2DP profile which is used to stream music.
What vishal was saying was that you can connect the phone to Blue N Me through USB port and play media files as well as use BnMe for calls.
( In most phones when you connect phone to USB port it shuts down itself and restart and start in Flash Memory mode i.e. you can't call, text etc)

 

That's a shame, coz the bluetooth system on the Figo was able to stream music direct from iPhone without needing an adapter.

 

i have a punto 2009 model whenever i try to update it , it shows error 10 after some time, can some body help me in this matter

One observation:

When I pair my Nokia 5800 to BnM and start GPS navigation, the voice guidance does not come up on speakers. But then when you make/receive a call, suddenly the lady on the voice navigation starts talking to you about directions. I dont know how to resolve this issue.
