Blue & Me Software Version update & All other queries

SMS reader works with my phone SE Aino. Would try delete all the messages in memory and see what linea says.
Have anyone understood what linea speaks when reading SMS. It reads them too fast and sometime says something very very funny when message is written in Hinglish language.

 

I have been trying to update the blue and me to V5.5, but in vain. It shows 'updating' and then 'restarting' and then it shows 'installing' for about 20mins or so and after that it says 'update error', 'check your memory device'. I wonder what could be the problem. I am using a 4GB kingston flash drive. Is that the reason for the error? Should I try it with a smaller capacity pen drive? Friends/Guru's, I require urgent help on this. Thanks.

 

guys, has anybody updated Eco Drive software on their Blue n Me? I tired to update this software on my Friend's Punto, was able to upgrade the 5.5 version software from the Fiat site but not eco drive, getting the USB 10 error message.

 

Eco drive is not compatible with the India launched B&M.

 

Today updated the Blue and Me to the 5.5 version as per the link provided earlier in the thread. Only problem still is that blue and me does not read messages from my Samsung Omnia windows phone nor from the Galaxy S android phone. Which is really sad as for last one year I have not been able to use this feature.

Message reader doesn't work in Windows Mobile, Symbian, Android etc.
Message reader mostly woks with Sony Ericsson Phones that have Sony's Proprietary Java OS.

 

Updated to ver 5.5.1.3 without any hitch. WinMo to Win SMS reading is not available.

I have updated the BLUE and ME in my car yesterday. But now I think there is some bug.

Previously - whenever I will start the car - my media player will automatically - but now I have to manually switch off and switch on the tape only then will it read the Media Player usb stick and play.

All those who have upgraded - do you have the same issue or does your player start automatically.

Press the Microsoft button and say Autoplay ON. You can also switch On Autoplay from the media player settings accessed by using steering control.

 

B&Me message reader does not work on Windows Mobile devices ?? :hit :lol: .. Typical Microsoft software.
