Blue & Me Software Version update & All other queries

Amit I reckon it is in english. I just opened the .inf file and the install instructions are in english. That would mean that the program is also in english language.

 

After completion of the updating process, I heard the Blue&Me female voice announcing 'Update complete. Remove the device' with the same message appearing on the display panel of the Media Player. So, the new Blue&Me SW version 5.5 is available in English too in addition to Italian and other languages. :up

 

Vahan there are no USB Settings and USB Option in this version. Those options are available only in cars which have Blue N Me adaptor inbuilt in unit itself.
Ipod Touch don't work with this update you still need BnMe adaptor to use new gen Ipods.

 

Amit, I downloaded the new version 5.5 from the new Blue&Me website. It shows 'iPod control' in additionto 'Play all' option. Media Player>Folders>Play all/iPod control. It means, we can select a particular track from the iPod itself. In the earlier version, even with my Blue&Me Media Adaptor, this option was not available. I didn't see any USB settings/USB option.

 

i have updated 5.5.

there are no usb settings in menu.

the change i see in the media player vmenu is that it says "random" now instead of "play anything"

I plugged in my ipod touch and it does get charged . my ipod touch charge was empty so i couldnt check whether it works or not. will report back

but i think it will work as when i used to plug my ipod touch in previous version it never even used to get charged.

i also faced the same issue :P

 

nokia phones are not push phones like sony ericsson so phone book will not be automatically pushed from phone.

first update the B&M to 5.5 version . go to settings-> user data-> delete all and press ok

try pairing again by going into setting and pairing and pair your phone and authorise the phone to connect automatically. it will say welcome

so when the b&m says download the phonebook please press mute button and cancel.

in phone go to bluetooth and paired devices blue and me press options and set as authorised .

go to settings->userdata-> add contacts and press ok

got to phone and contacts-> options-> markall-> send business card via bluetooth and connect to blue and me so that it will transfer the phone book to manually to B&M

now try calling and recieving a call and keep us posted

I updated to ver5.5 but my 4th gen ipod touch is neither getting charged nor recognized by Blue and Me.
Could you please confirm that you indeed saw iPod getting charged and which generation of ipod touch is it?
