Those who desperately want to have Optima Red Top can get it through Ebay. It comes to around 10 K + . Check this Link . This is just FYI.
  4. Thanks for the link Cinju... but noticeable is that the item is being sent from USA and after reaching India will we have to shelve out another 3 to 4K for customs, then rate is again gonna increase..... :(

@romsi_rk the price mentioned is including custom duty
But what would one do if the battery fails in warranty period

So is the case if we but it from India also. We get only the left out stocked ones & even if that fails, the chances of getting a replacement is almost 0 % . But I think the brand is a real "maintenance free" one.

  9. Thanks Guru..... maybe in 2 or 3 months time need to get the battery replaced... and then go for the "baap of all batteries"..... ;)

I just checked from them and found that they dont have stock of these batteries anymore and also people being now money conscious dont go for these costly batteries and so they stopped importing them. Now for all vehicles they provide only Amaron..... very bad news indeed.... :(

Thanks Guru. They seem to have branches across all over India. Hopefully the branches may be able to sources the batteries too. If at all we are planning to replace it with Optima battery, how well it will fit in the battery bay ? Will there be any issue ?
