If car starts using jump start, its mean that battery is not good. Mostly experts says avoid jump start, because using jump starts battery life is decreased. I suggest you replace your battery. As you ask i where to buy car battery, i say it's BatteryBhai.com. Here you can purchase all Fiat car batteries on cheapest prices.

Team, what do you think is the best time to replace the battery? The cranking voltage is 8.5 and it is 3+ years old, no issues with starting. It is 11.5 V when measured early in the morning on battery terminals (Engine powered off and rested through the night).

I am bit apprehensive about the alternator load and its implications, let me know your thoughts.

I inclined towards Amaron, does 55Ah has any advantage other than the length it can hold the charge for?

Why not try Bosch C7 battery charger. it has a regenerative mode for 'short time' dead battery.
