I just saw this on the net.

I am enclosing the image:

It is a 22" sub weighing 160 kgs!! rated for 12000 watts; and yes, it is a car speaker!!

Is it a car speaker ? Looks more like the speaker you would need in a Humvee while going off-roading ::V

 

I think that even a Hummer will struggle to carry this monster around.

Trust the Yanks to come out with something like this!

Hmm.. 160 KIlos! You would not want to add that much into an already heavy car do you?

There's a very lighter solution, RF's Tactile Transducer - it gives good bass effect to people sitting in the car while not polluting the outside with big boom boom sound. The weight of this thing is far less that such boom boxes. (It is just above 1 Kg!) BTW, we can't compare the sound output power of the jack hammer with this one!
