I have been following various android apps that works well with FIAT Cars.
So thought of starting a thread where we will have list of all those apps.
I would request members to pour in there knowledge as well as if possible detailed reviews.

Some of the commonly used apps

    1. Torque
    2. MapMyIndia (Sygic)
    3. FIAT EcoDrive

I recently came across an app that is suppose to be working for Lancia cars, but then as we know FIAT and Lanica shares a lot of common stuffs.
Lancia Can Bus as name suggest, it reads data from canbus and allows user to perform a lot of actions that we do via various menus.
You can read trip meter data, reset them etc.

    URL: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tdg.ru.canbus.lancia

I am currently away from car, meanwhile any enthusiast can give a try.

Please NOTE: I have not tested this, but it looks very promising. PLEASE TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Are there any Andorid app developers among us?

Whats interesting is FIAT ADV adds plugins to Torque pro :)
So a lot many additional details can be seen in Torque pro.

    Good news for all :)
I tested the Lancia Can Bus App, It works fine with our cars :) (Some features that are missing like DRL etc would not work, obiviously)

Now the exciting part is that this app can solve the woes of all those who want to use steering controls outside the Blue & Me. Yes, this app will allow you to map those keys with any app on you android phone. So If you have an android device, you can probably replace your default HU and use it instead.

I am in touch with developer of app, lets see if we can have a FIAT version of same too. :)

AlfaOBD is also a good app for those who dont have access to multiecu scan.

    Great find Viny.

By the way, just for the benefit of the readers here, the steering mounted audio controls can be made to work with any aftermarket head unit/stereo by using the Connects2 Canbus interface. It costs around Rs5000/- IIRC.

If anyone has installed the app and using it, kindly let me know.
You can help by providing the canbus log that will help in adding more functionalists.
Obviously the developer doesnt have access to FIAT cars so he depends upon logs that we give.
Also feel free to pour in your suggestions about what you would like to see in app.

Ask me if you dont know how to enable Data loging.
