Alloys for FIAT cars are hard to come by because they are 98PCD. And the alloys provided by FIAT are by far quite pricey. How about then getting alloys done for us directly by a manufacturer ?

    Like for example: http://www.wheelsindia.com/forged-aluminium-wheel.html

If sufficient number of us need 14", 15" or even 16" alloys, we might be able to get it at a reasonable price. Perhaps we might be restricted to a common design, but hey we get all the benefits of alloys don't we. ?

Apart from the PCD, rim width and the rim dia in inches, what one should not forget is the wheel offset.
The Punto and Linea rims have an offset (ET) of 41mm with 5.5" width. Many online stores don't mention the ET value. Message them or call the customer support of such websites and understand the ET value of the rim that intend to buy.
For a 6" wide rim you can choose a rim with ET few mm less than the factor spec of 41.

Hi Murphy, Just for clarity can you mention the rim size as well. 15" or 16"? With ET40 on a 6.5" the rim will be protruding inside by a few mm and outside also by a few mm. Just ensure that the inner protrusion doesn't interfere with the suspension A-Arm while turning the steering to a full lock (Extreme right or left). And ensure the excess protrusion outwards doesn't rub the tyre on to the fender while negotiating a bump.
No need to change tyre if you already have 195mm wide tyre.
