Thanks alot for FIAT and kudos. Good Job guys.
Thanks and great job done buddys
Fantastic report guys..Many Thanx to N Kiran for keeping updating the thread n also to Amogh..Now Fiat has a winner in its hands..do marketing of this car as like car of steel is back again..
I think even earlier Linea T-Jet were also equipped with the engine manufactured in India, only the turbo charger part was imported & fitted with existing 1.4L FIRE engine. This is what explained by company engineer when we visited factory in Dec'12.
Apart from this, present pricing are too competitive with all those tin cans sedans on Indian roads. Infect T-Jet is always a best VFM car, now with recent launch it is the best buy.
I am jealous that the TJet might now lose its exclusivity , and more people will get to enjoy the magic :ban
On the contrary, we were told that in India T-Jet engine were imported fully. Manufacturing T-Jet engine was the plan initially, but didn't happen due to lack-lustre response for T-Jet. And by the way apart from cc i.e. 1368 there are no common parts between 1.4 NA and 1.4 T-Jet engine. Experts can comment more on this.
You might be correct, I am not 100% sure
A great coverage for a fabulous car at a fantastic price.
Welcome back TJet :dancing

Many Thanks Kiran for Prompt response & update it here.
Now Fiat is tempting me to turn to petrol head from diesel head . If 1.6 MJD ( with VGT) will not come, Then Tjet Emotion will replace my 76 HP sports sure . Kiran, I think you will also turn petrol head with me .
Out of curiosity
1. Which top hats from FIAT was present?
2. Was there a Q&A sessions with the FIAT top hats ?
Live coverage! Great reporting guys!
