@tellmepleaze: I am surprised to see a fiat owner satisfied with the service from rf motors.
Because till now i have not met any fiat owner who is happy about rfs service
and this extends to my relatives, neighbours, friends etc..
Infact one of my neighbours punto was in top condition before the first service but just after the first service(for which he had to pay 10000rs without any bill, concorde charges around 5000 for the same service)
started showing problems in each and every department.. I too had lots of bad experience with them.. As far as i know rf is the reason why fiat still has the poor service image in kerala.. Whenever i see a punto or linea in a local workshop in 95% of cases i see a rf motors sticker on them.. Infact i feel sad whenever i see a punto or linea with a rf sticker on them coz i know what all hardships they are going through in maintaining the car.. Concorde in comparison has been definitely better.. But if things have started improving at rf lately then its good signs for fiat..:)

It is purely based on my experience, no bias. In fact I bought Linea from Concord, first free service too by them. I thought Tata(Concord) the agent for Fiat in India will be more concerned to nurse 'their' adopted brand as good as Tata brand, but later found the opposite.
I found they are more into the selling than service. There is no personal attention at all, you are a stranger even after 5 years !
IT SHOULDN'T BE SO, with such hi-tech cars, unlike Tata cars. They deserve personal attention, seamlessly. (To be frank, I happily driven an Indica, the base car for 8 long years and sold at 1 lakh ! still engine untouched after 2.5 lakhs...)
Thus feeling uneasy I taken her to RF for 1st service. I do not know if they did it faithfully, but the personal attention is much better. second time they 'remember' you. Now at least 3 senior staff knows me, by telling my reg. number. They take every care to satisfy me, and I give them 10 out of 10 points.

May be as you said this could be an improvement from their past sins. :-D

RF motors and good service, you are lucky. I have two Fiat cars with me, one goes to RF and the other goes to Concorde for service. RF is horrible in diagnosing issues and they take at least 3 - 4 days to complete each service. Parts availability is also a big issue with RF. At Concorde they complete the service the same day or at max by next day afternoon. Delivery experience was equally poor at both the places, but the Concorde at least provides genuine accessories.

Yes, I agree the delay, but almost same with Concord too.
Parts: I found almost same with both. Both complain on Fiat for not sending parts in time. I would like a rebuttal against this accusation from Fiat India. Dont know if they are hearing at all.
Spurious parts for Linea? Are they existing, especially crucial items like engine parts ? First time I am hearing...

I was not talking about spare parts, I was talking about accessories like mud flap, mat etc. I have never faced any delays at Concorde for regular service where as RF has never given the car on time for the last 5 years.

Concorde, wherever they are , are out to kill FIAT. Do they have an agenda ? May be.
My friend had a CSC failure on the highway and his car was towed to Concorde Ambatur, Chennai. I told him to just have the CSC changed and continue using and shift to TAFE TASS. Since he had done 59,000 Kms, they scared him about the oil condition and forced him to change the oil. He allowed them to do the CSC and the oil change, brake disc pad and an A/c check up. Total bill was 18,500/- The oil they used without permission from the customer was Mobil 1 and ol alone was Rs.9000/- A rip off really. He was wondering whether to keep the car with the maintenance shooting up.

    I agree.
Nobody give extra nursing to somebody's child, leaving own offspring.
But Fiat had no way, but taking this calculative risk to test-drive Punto and Linea, knowing if the products got accepted, volume will increase, Tata cannot do timely service, and parts too.
Now they found the products are accepted, and service is affecting as a bad mark, hence coming in with own branches, service outlets...

The costliest of Mobil 1 costs nly around 1100/litre. So how come oil costs came to 9000 rs???
