Well, if it is going to be Munnar, I would also like to join. Just back after meeting the TFIians from Banagalore & Chennai. Would love to meet the guys from Kerala. Can you share the details here please...?

 

Nothing has been finalised man.. planing it in august, that means, after the rains have subsided and before the rush of onam season starts in. Have to find out a suitable place for all the cars and nimish is in the process of finding it. Lets wait a bit !!!

Its a plan in the anvil and its not a meet. Its just a gathering, a drive and stay along with some adventure stuff. The issue is the stay is gonna cost somewhere around 4.5k. So we are just having the initial discussions. If we have more than 8 club members we would post a thread on TFI and take it from there.

Problem is Munnar is frequented by every Keralite every year. Better some fresh, unknown place, deep inside forest or at banks of some river in forest etc.

BTW, was there any recent long drive from Kerala chapter of TFI, say Ladakh or somewhere deep north/ Himalaya/ Nepal....?

 

I do agree that Munnar is frequented by keralites because its one of our prime hill destinations. Since we have no other option and people from all over need to drive a common place has come to play.

I do agree with your suggestion of an unknown place deep inside the forest or river banks. But the first thing is where is the place ??? Second and most important thing is that we have fiats. Its not a 4*4 for us to go dune bashing or river crossing. Even in flat roads our cars scrape the ground. So its hard to take it off tarmac.

I think a fellow member of TFmoto club is driving to Ladakh if you are interested you can join him. He plans to move in sept. If you want i can also join you as a navigator and reserve driver. Maybe an event from kanayakumari- ladahk. The fastest drive. Some thing like the GQ drive which was done recently.

 

RF Motors, Ernakulam is throwing a party for their 'reputable' customers on Saturday(23rd) at Ernakulam. I am invited.
Any other TFIan invited, to meet at the venue?

(To be frank, I found their service miles better than Concord, Ernakulam...)
