The response to the meet has been overwhelming and i have been getting a lot of appreciation mails from a lot of TFI members. I would like to thank all the enthusiasts who particpated whole heartedly for making the event a grand sucess. When the initial idea was concieved i did not expect the participation levels to be high. There was tremendous pressure as it was the first event of this kind in kerala for a particular brand. Maruti had organised one and the inflow was less which resulted in a flop show. The enthusiasm showed by the fiat owners has surprised many. This shows the love and affection they have for their cars. We had moved ahead without any sponsorship and just with the small entry fee for food and stickers. My fellow collegues and friends had literally asked me if i was mad and discouraged me from going ahead. But I was optimistic about the outcome and went ahead with the meet and wanted to show the world that FIAT is a brand that people love with their heart not like any other car they have owned. All i had to tell them was wait and watch for the big day MAY 6th.People who saw could not believe their eyes. The pictures above speak about the meet we had. Petes was of great help and had even visited our Power drive venue to congratulate and support our enthusiasm.

People were surprised to see the outcome of the event and many were shocked to see such a huge gathering which is the first in kerala.

I would once again like to thank all of you who participated in the event and a special thanks to Rahul who was literally a great help for me to make it a sucess.

Nimish we all thank you for conducting such a wonderful event .In fact this was the 1st state wide meet in TFI it seems & all the pain, sleepless nights & effort you had put for this event has made this event so successful. Hats off for that . Of course it was the collective effort of you & Rahul that had made this event so well organised & it was indeed a learning lesson for all. :clap . It was also heard that there was direct enquiry from Fiat India about the meet & they had also asked to inform them prior to the next meet. ::T

It is also good that it has conducted without any support from Fiat. Nothing against it. But this one shows the amount of passion, as Nimish pointed out, for Fiat brand.
A sponsored meet could have diluted the effect.

Although a small state, the pain in travelling say from kannur to cochin, being a highly populated state, is tremendous. All people came from south and north part , contributed lot to the spirit of the meet.

Hats off to Nimish, Rahul and everyone else who contributed to make this meet a grand success.

My friends (Varun & family, Jithin and his friends) from kannur had a real gala time and they said that in future any meets.. they would surely be there.

A small state like Kerala has showed that we love our FIAT's and for that any meet anywhere we would attend with full zeal..... :)

Congrats to Team Fiat Kerala that we have been recognised by FIAT INDIA and we would be getting full support for our future events...

Once again a special round of appreciation to Nimish, Rahul and everyone behind this great event and also to all the members and families who had come in good numbers to support this event....

Absolute blast of a meet. The reports and more than that the pics were a treat.
Good to see so many fiats- just wondering how on lookers have felt and the proud owners inside the lovely cars with all those gazes around. ;-)
Well, hats off for organizing and executing such an event. Many lessons learnt and the next meet I am sure will be inviting even more participation and even more rich fotos will result. The modded cars were simply stunning.
Would love to be part of such a meet, had it coincided with my home town visit ! huh!

A large number of non tfi members would like to visit this site. But unfortunately the photographs are not visible to non registered members. If the same could be opened for visitors to the page it would be a great advantage. Moderators please make a note of this as we have been getting a lot of requests from visitors who would like to see the happenings in TFI. It would be an added advantage and more of a boost to team fiat india

    Nimish ,
unlike other forums , here, in TFI we need hardly a minute to register . and they can see all the photos and even comment on that ..Even when my friends want to see the pics over here I suggest the same to them .Dont you think that is the best solution ?

I dont think that would be a solution. As team bhp has links which you can directly view picz. That would help the average joe from moving to reg formalities and moreover we have a lot of anti fiatians.. But they like to know whats going on inside. That would promote the site too as pictures speak more.
