I was in car #22, I had the speed limit buzzer set at 80Kmph, I was not speeding at all and did not cross 80Kmph in the entire journey. Well I know 80kmph is beyond limits in most of the roads. Was surprised to know what happened in the middle. I fully agree to soccerfan on his comment "It should be a relaxed drive and not a mad rush" .

Next time onwards for any such drives we will ensure that none of us exceeds the speed limits any where thru the drive. Guys SAFETY FIRST!!

Agree 100% with soccerfan. Safety first and as fiatians it is our responsibility to follow it.
Better strategy will be to activate the same safe speed limit for all cars in the meet.

Soccer we appreciate your concerns, its a learning process for all. Mistakes makes you learn to be more perfect :)

This is the first time we ever organised a event where in people from one end to other end of Kerala met for a Fiat meet.Other than few people from TFI most of them we are meeting for the first time. Hitches starts from it.... Time everyone has to follow it, one lags the whole dynamics change. We also need to consider people are coming from very far...like more than 250kms just to be part of it.

In addition to that we had last minute 4 cancellations which messed up the line up,the chart was prepared the previous day to no the vehichles and we had to re-work at the venue so that the line up looks great in the last moment( Sad part some people where not picking the calls who said they will come and till last minute we were not sure they are coming or not) . Even we prepared a KIT containing everything since the cancelations started happening we dropped it. Test drives of Petes remapped 2 puntos and test drive vehicle Linea T jet from Concord Motors also kind of dragged the time, but i am sure everyone loved it.

As linea driver mentioned , mine never crossed 80 kph I was the last. It was clearly mentioned to everyone about the speed limit. If one speeds it doesn't mean you have to do the same. Thank god that no one got hurt in that bizarre drive by one driver.Rules are set to be followed.... we lost lot of time in the start , unexpected stop over because of speed ticket and one of the guy missed the turn towards Athirapily ,drove more than 3 kms which de routed the rest behind it.

Well we learned a lot from it, what can be done to make it more colorful and perfect. The preparation started like 1.5 months back, the kind of effort and time we put for this was enormous..other than our regular job. Each and every day we both spend hell a time over the phone and meeting in between going through minute details. i would say Nimish is the one. Hats off to him.. He was camping in the town for the last 3 days....

I would say its a team effort from each person who participated and made it big... applause to everyone :)

I would've loved to be part of this, but my job being such, I could never commit. And as luck would have it, I was out of town on the D-day. Thanks for putting up such a great meet guys. Points by soccerfan and rahul16 are valid. Given the diversification, hiccups are bound to be there. One can live with delays but not with compromise on safety. I hope I will be able to be part of the next meet. Once again, two thumbs up to the organisers and a great hurrah to the participants.

Despite being the 1st event, we managed to be almost perfect . Hats off to the organisers. We have learnt a lot from this event & I am sure we can manage to bring out certain rules & regulations which needs to be adhered by all the members. Else you will be out of the show. The road towards Athirampally was so tempting that you will surely try to pull out the best from your car. But mistake by a single person could land all others into unwanted problems . Even on my way back some Athirampally locals on bike were riding as if they purposefully want to irritate us. We were easily distinguishable as we had the stickers on. Our moto should be something like "Drive Safe -Keep the space " .Lets not pull this thread to a discussion thread. Let our fellows enjoy the beautiful snaps.

Unfortunately there only 4 MJD lineas and no T-Jet Lineas for the event. Anyways, this was just a start.
