bringing this thread alive,
I'm currently having a 7J alloy. Although I'm not very sure if i can use 195 section tyres on a 7j Alloy , michellin website says i can use it without a problem.
Can anyone please clarify
I know someone who is using 205 profile on the stock steel rim of our Punto. I think 205 is the max size for 7j & 225 for 7.5j.
Me too planning for new alloys for my Linea. Would be starting the hunt shortly.
When I changed over to Alloys a few years back, I was on 175x70 R14 profile stock Bridgestones.
I continued to use them on the 6J alloys for about 15-18k till they were worn out.
As you can see the 175mm is the minimum width for 6J and while they were on, I could see the rim edges, but other than that there were no issues.
Got these from quite sometime now.
These are Lenso Project D Spec E in Metallic gun metal color, 15inchers and 100PCD, with Hub-centric rings, ofcourse. No vibrations or anything under any speed.
Tires are Michelin XM2,205/60 R15
