Adding Bluetooth/USB/AUX functionality to Punto Emotion

I have not done any calculation on the time the 4.5GB MP3 would play. I just matched it up with the total audio content on my phone so that there are no interruptions. However your suggestion of having it in VBR @ low rate appeals.. will try over this week end and revert in case I face any issues. Thanks for your suggestion and guidance.

 

Instead of connecting the open ends to the terminal block, use USB splitter it may serves the purpose. You can also connect Pend drive and USB to Aux converter to the splitter. I think it's better and easily removable.

 

Hi, am a new owner (infact just a week old). Have taken an Evo. Awesome vehicle, but the USB drive is behaving very inconsistently. It sometimes plays from the USB, sometimes it does not. Have tried two new USBs - PNY and a Sony micro vault as well. These work perfectly fine in my friend`s old Linea, but fail to loan in my new Punto - sometimes. Any suggestion please?

Sorry for replying you late...

Well I have not connected the open ends of the 3.5 mm cable at the USB Slot as its a "digital signal input" where as the requirement was that for the analog input (from the headphone jack of the mobile) so it had to be connected to the rear socket area of the head unit. And is working fantastically...

I have resampled the file at much lower rate and saved it in the *.mp3 format. The play time for this SILENCE.mp3 is 10 hours and the size is only 500 MB now. I am also working on the software part of B&M so that once I am successful in writing the appended code for B&M we sohuld be in a position to have a direct selection on voice commands. I will need a lot of support for my family here...

Not sure if this is the right forum for my query. Mine is a Tjet emotion variant. I connect my mobile via cable to listen to songs on it. How do I change song tracks via steering or any other controls on the integrated system.

 

Does blue and me still function properly after this alteration.

 

Yes, It works fine, no need to worry about Blue and Me. I'm using that set up from past 6 months.
