Really sorry to hear the ordeal Sat-Chit-ananda. Hope all of you are safe and well. FIAT RSA is sometimes wierd, I once had similar experience and called the tow guy myself as RSA was not of any help (similar lady voice, asking all minute details). This was near Sriperambatur (SKR college).

Btw, how did the tyre burst, it is supposed to be tubeless.

Shocking to hear about RSA response and horrible to hear about Manipal.

When I was in Bangalore in 2007-08, I heard lots of such incidences about Manipal, Old airport road hospital.

    Still they are looting people.
  4. Just had few email exchanges with Satish, it looks like tire dealer convinced him not worry on sidewall cut damage.
Tire brand was bridge-stone,all the tires were changed to bridge-stone in June, suspect tire had devolved cut/crack with in a week.

Clearly a mistake on the tire dealers side to give a false information and play with the lives of Satish and family. Good to know all are safe.

I saw this car in Vecto.. Bad condition, but all are safe they said. The owner wants this to be repaired but the billing amount is close to 9 Lakhs and the Veicle IDV is 5.15 Lakhs approx. But he stated Owner thanked Fiat for the tough body and he is gonna get another Linea for sure..

    Thank god!

sathish and his family were safe.i can feel the agony he had gone through.

even when tyre dealer convinced him,he should go with his instinct, anyhow whatever happened is happened?

tyre is the most important part which has contact with road and car,so one has to be extra cautious.

due to negligence of RAJA tyres, where i bought 4 tyres, front pair got wear more than what it has to within 1000km of drive and on through check up found

bad workmanship.guy didn't tightened properly,i bought a pair of yokohama c-drive again and changed immediately.

now my trusted tyre dealer is RAMESH tyres velachery.

even Ramjn also swapped his MRF ZLO after he noticed the bulge at inner wall.both of got set back of 11000 RS.

the kind of insane speed we were doing these losses worth it.

sathish could have easily avoided this fatal accident.
