Please don't do that !! Pump attendants will be accustomed to see the sticker on Diesel cars only. They may not take the trouble of reading what's written on the sticker.
The best solution is to always
1. Never sit inside the car and order for fuel if the dispenser is not in your sight
2. Ask the attendent what fuel is he dispensing to ensure he has understood what you wanted.
3. Look at the dispensing meter for the fuel price. If the fuel pricing is different from what fuel you want, this will ring alarm bells in your mind.
Don't ask me if i follow this but i need to do this to avoid a tricky situation like what the thread opener faced.
very correct I jumped on this thread thinking some thing grave has happened to some mjd.
gr8 that rollingice was attentive to his fuel needle.
Really its a night mare, My dad usually fills up the Petrol at the same station since 1998, When i am at home, i also fill up the tank at the same pump.
