HI Roy , am eager to see how the car looks with the new shoes !
Hey Roy, let me also know if you are able to get spigot rings for HRS 14" alloys.
If I need and I am not able to buy, my approach would be to make them. Any odd machine shop will be able to make them to your specification.
Nope all the cars these days are driven without using speedo cables. My 6 year old Palio does not have a cable either . The meters are fully electronic and use a membrane based circuit.
If you are planning to sell your original alloys I will take them ;-)
If you are making one please let me know : . Will join....
@ROY J : U NEED TO CHECK D GRADE OF STEEL TO BE USED TO MAKE THE RINGS ....
1. EXPANSION DUE TO HEAT
2. CONTRACTION DURING WINTERS
LATER DEVELOPING CRACKS IN D RINGS ...
I THINK SPIGOT RINGS MIGHT BE MADE OF AIRCRAFT GRADE STEELS AS IS IN THE CASE OF SPACERS ..
Guys if I put aftermarket wheelcaps instead of alloys wheels, how it will look? Please give your inputs.
I was searching 98 PCD alloy & didnt get good designs. :confused
no ways .... the one comin with punto is the bst wheel cap given by any car mnufacturer ....
also aftermarket wheelcaps r just placed on the rim [and nt bolted ] and tend to detach while goin over bumpy rds ...
bttr go with alloys ,,,
read dat some members have gone for 100pcd alloys with no problems !!!!!
Kedar , you'll have to post someimages before someone can comment . Some aftermarket designs might look good . Its all upto individual taste . If you like it , you get it . Its your car and you should like it when you see it .
