Looks not zesty as i hoped for.
Interiors and exteriors are just blunt and dull.
Damn those front grills, idiot FIAT did not just take it from them.
Steering design looks like some what copied-inspired from honda.
    Alloys from Linea
Seats and door plastics and dashboard just looks very plasticy and cheap just from the pics itself.
HU seems to be good in terms of looks though not wowish.
Overall shape looks like inspired from Amaze.
Observe the dials a bit closer, each markings are shaped like Coffins. So even at 0, getting into coffin is certain :evilsmile

    Very competitive and aggressive pricing.
Would be a game changer in tier two towns like mine, where it certainly makes more sense than swift, dezire, grand i10, brio, amaze. And ritz.
Would kill several cars across segments.
    Well done TATA.

Very aggressive pricing by TATA. Just after I20 launch TATA drops in Zest with this killer pricing!

5 - 10L bracket is getting heavily confusing for the buyers with CSedans, premium hatchbacks,CSUVs all in near pricing :) Polo/Puno/I20 would have to deal with stiff competition ahead.

Seems to be a Game changer and will bisect multiple car options and brands if TATA can hold on to good quality and better ASS! TATA is Revving! :devil

So,the new mantra in pricing is sell it at no margin,we will recover the profit when the car comes for servicing and repair.
The taxi market should grab this car with spares and service available all over the country.
Tata should have launched the car a day before Hyundai launched elite I20, Hyundai would have cut the price by at least 20k.

Tata have priced the car well - it is not only cheaper than other sub 4M sedans, but even cheaper than Elite i20.

I hope TATA will be greeted with success this time.

A quick price comparison - prices are all ex showroom Delhi, metallic colors. Prices are taken from respective manufacture websites.

Zen - personally, I disagree with each of your statements, but then, to each their own.

very good pricing by Tata. i feel this could make a huge competition for the top selling compact sedan Dzire.

Excellent pricing and package overall the Zest is. The Diesel AMT is a perfect one for City roundabout cheap and economical.

Hopefully the aam junta will look beyond the badge and make this success.

OT - it's shameful to see other companies launching AMT but Fiat owning the technology is sitting back and watching. Wonder what they discuss in board meetings - what's the next component we can sell!
