2nd set of pads and 4th set of disks at 50k. :D. 2nd set of Pads are almost worn out. 1st set was replaced prematurely at 20k while they were diagnosing an issue.

I know people would say pads need to be changed along with disks but the tass heroes kept changing disks every 4 months Foc and I couldn't afford pads each time these jokers did their awesome diagnosis.

My original brake pads lasted for 40000 kms and still were going ok but I got them changed with the disc and now have completed 71500 Kms after the replacement.

It's great to see the adaptation of FIAT's brake pads to driving styles. They can be performance when you demand (make no mistake, they indeed perform & wearing off doesn't apply for performance pads!). Can be very long lasting if one drives with an attitude of lasting the brake pads long.

The upper limit to lower limit is as much as 40000 Kms to 9 Kms (4.5 times!). That is mind bending:).

I have changed my brake pad at 26k KMS during 3rd servicing and as per SA i can drive 1500-2000 km more with the old one. But to avoid labour charge on next visit i have changed it during 3rd service with new modified one.

Here modified brake pad means, now my car won't be making chu chu sound :) on braking which suppose to be with old brake pad.

    First set at 24500 Kms
Second set at 52000 Kms .. Current ODO is 61000 Kms.
I think next time i would change Disks too ( May be around 77k km range ). One obersavation is for my driving style i am fetching 25k Kms for each brake pad set.
I am very much satisfied with OE brake pads .

Am currently running on first set brake pads and odo stands @15,200 kms. Haven't heard any grinding noise till date nor have felt any vibrations. But the service guy advised me to change the pads as well as the disks after another 2k kms. Tad confused. Shall inspect the pads after couple of thousands kms, take a second opinion and then decide.
