2010 Punto 90HP -Turbo kicking in late at around 2500rpm

Hi Guys,

last year when i gave my car for servicing along with black smoke compliant, the service centre people screwed my turbo, meaning my Punto car turbo kicks at around 2500rpm instead of 2000rpm. after that i have complained them twice and all they do is keep my car for few days and return saying no problem sir, everything is fine, even after heated conversation about my complaint(Pride Motors Jeep & Fiat Service Centre). Any one who can get this fixed in Hyderabad

On the other hand, do you think any other service centers who could help?

 

If service centre has changed parts or they have done any work recommended by FIAT, they are supposed to provide warranty on that (for a limited period - 6 months, I guess). If this applies, reaching FIAT is the best option.

If not, you can try finding other workshops or other garages who work with Fiat/MJD engines.
You may try other forums or Fiat groups in FB for the same.

Did you get it checked for any leaks in the Turbo hoses?

 

@rajks told them about the lag twice, but i dont about Turbo hoses so never told them in particular. would you think that needs to be checked?

 

@Prasad, yes, but if they have done a diligent job most likely they would have checked it for leakage, if you are in doubt you can specifically check with them if they have ensured no leaks in hoses.
