100K Service Requirements

My Punto active covered 100000 Kms. Fiat Service centre in coimbatore gave list worth 42000INR for service.

Timing kit: 8000
Alternator Belt: 1200
Power steering Belt:2100
Clutch Kit: 8500
Engine Room cleaning: 800
AC disinfectant cleaning: 800
Glow Plug: 1080
Engine Beds: 3300
Interior Cleaning: 1750
Sanitizing: 1000
105K service: 13500
Total : 42000 Approx including Labour Cost!!

Need advice what need to ensure and what to skip for 100K service. No specific complaint in vehicle. He still running good!!

 

If no complaint about the clutch, you can skip this for now, get the valeo kit later whenever you have issues. Company fitted clutch lasts upto 1.5 lakhs.
Since 1 lakh kms are covered, engine bed, timing kit, belts and glow plug should be changed.
Do inquire about the aftermarket belts, those will save you around INR 2.5k.

 

You may skip them or get interior cleaning outside.
Sanitizing is about 300 Rs or so in other FASS. That too, will be waived if you contest.

What is this? Engine mounts?
If you face vibrations in engine while starting or stopping may be you can change. Check for this and then change.

Its good to clean this. If you have not done in recent times, go ahead. Otherwise, you can get it done outside or later.

Check with service manual and see the mandatory items are only changed.

Removing some items from the list also removes labour associated.
