Which ever car you buy, only buy the buy the ones that come with AIRBAGS,ABS,EBD and all the safety measures.
MJD Linea should be a better buy,who know, petrol price might soon become 100Rs/litre!

1.4 TJet is a sheer value for money with the kind of features it has.

However, felt diesel is the best in the long run, we get 50% more mileage and @ 60% cost of the fuel. Especially i'm thinking of using this car for at-least 5-6 years. Heck with the re-sale value, not a concern to me.

Please do post your insight which made you to buy MJD.

First after market fitment is Hertz/Polk comps + speakers, 16" Alloys (will use 195 instead of 205 width tyre) .. at later date thinking of leather seats

    Thanks

Was just checking the price difference b/w emotion and pack, pack does make a good buy at 60K more.

Pack does come with ABS + Alloys

ABS is also available in Emotion variant.
    Difference are

    1. 3- Point ELR Seat Belts with Pretensioners & Load Limiter
    2. Dual Stage Front Driver & Passenger Airbag
    3. Desmodronic Foldable Key with boot release (only boot release option is missing from the key)
    4. Collapsible Rear Sun Curtain
    5. Blue & Me with USB Port
    6. Steering Mounted Audio, Blue & Me Controls
    7. Alloys

Out of all this i went for emotion pack because it had Airbags, life is move valuable than 60k for sure.
    Rest all were additional benefits,

Thanks viny, just realised i wanted to type Airbags instead of ABS ;)

Yes i agree with you, safety is more important.

By the way, you are having black Linea, just wanted to check few points

    1. Do you find it difficult in maintaining the black color
    2. Does the inside temp rises more, compared to white color when parked in open sunlight
    3. Do you see swirls on the car

    Thanks
    Vasu

@Vasudev - Don't you think it's a little worth waiting for the Linea 1.6MultiJet ???? It was supposed to be launched with the T Jet but because of it's gearox issues it's geting delayed but I guess it will eventually get launched.

Answer in simple words - YES

But then black is black, makes you stand apart, and chrome blings best on black :)
I knew i have to keep aside 5-10K for keeping it shining every year.

Booked test drive from KHT Motors.

Requested to get both 1.3 & 1.4 Jet
  10. Re: 1.3 MJD or 1.4 TJet+ ?

I strongly recommed MJD Emotion Pack without any modications.

The reason why I do not recommend even changing the alloys/tires to 16" is that doing so will reduce the wheel arch clearnace and when the shock compresses, there can be high chances of the wheel brushing the wheel arch. Well, you can be sure of this issue on high bumps/speed breakers. The wheel arch in T-Jet is designed specifically to accommodate the 16" alloys.

Additionally, you may void your car's warranty too.
