    Hi Friends, 2 days back i was on a 450 kms round trip. The road condition of NH34 is not so good. On my way the right front tyre got punctured after falling on a pot hole. Later found that the Alloy got damaged and the local mechanic told me that it can not be repaired & i have to buy a new one, though he fixed the problem with a tube and i was able to manage the trip comfortably.

    I have my policy with Bajaj Allianz. Can anyone please let me know what % will be covered for this damage. I checked with the newly opened showroom in Kolkata, Garodia Motors and they told me there will not be any coverage, seems very strange to me :eek:.

    Also please let me know where could i get stickers of TFI and ABARTH :p

    I am having bad experience through this Bajaj Allianz Insurance. On 25th August I met with an accident and it took 2 days to get the car from the Police Station. When started driving on 28th, I noticed the engine gets over heated and checked the coolant tank. It was completely drain. By that time I driven about 70 KM. So I thought the coolant is leaking and if I fill the coolant, it will drive at least 100-120 KM but when I was changing the coolant and raising the engine rev before starting, the petrol station guy and me noticed the radiator fan is not running. So I called the Fiat toll-free number and they told that the towing will be charged after a certain KM. So I called Bajaj Allianz customer care and registered for towing as it will be free. The tow guy reached within 2 hours and they told Mysore is the shortest distance that they can cover and so I put in the URS Kars on 28th (last Wednesday).

    I got the surveyor information on 29th and as SC guys asked me to call to check the status on Saturday (31st August), I called and they told that the vehicle will be maximum ready by Tuesday but when I called the SC people they told that there is a signature verification document needed. I scanned the PAN card of my wife (car and insurance in wifey's name) and that guy on Tuesday told that it is not clear and I sent a photocopy to the surveyor. Today (5th September) the surveyor called and asked me for the FIR copy. I desperately need the vehicle and these guys are working on their terms to delay the claims. When I was taking the policy too they reduced the IDV to a drastic level with 2k more premium from the previous insurance and they are sucking my blood out by giving more tension by delaying d claim process. Literally started feeling why I took a car because of the insurance guys.

    Thanks Sat. The problem is I need to travel by tomorrow night and that surveyor is still telling this document is not there that document is incomplete. I now strongly written to insurance co about this incident. I desperately need the vehicle back as I need to travel to my cousin's marriage (as you know now I don't get ticket in any other transport and I cannot change plan at this time). Without checking the car's condition I don't want to travel but these people are not understanding the tensions of me.

    Sorry to know of the unfortunate situation.

    My personal experience with these baniya goons has been horrible to the extent I was ready to break a couple of bones of the Bangalore manager and the South regional manager and of course the surveyor for whom I could only find solace if I strangle him.

    Biggest jerks who check the price of the component and then think of accepting any damage, even for an irreparable visibly damaged and out of shape steering rack and drive shaft. That rogue said get this straightened and the car should run, any how the car is not going to be used as a race car, if it moves that's enough. Besides new part is expensive and I will not approve it. If you want you pay and replace it.

    The less I talk of the foul mouthed managers the better.

    Sorry, I have not resolved or provided any solution, I had to get this out in the open to avoid anyone to undergo such horrible experience with bajaj allianz.

    AVOID bajaj allianz FOR ANY INSURANCE. THEY ONLY MAKE YOUR LIFE LIVING HELL AND ENJOY TORTURING YOU.

    THIS IS MY VIEW THANX TO MULTIPLE CASES SEEN BESIDES MY OWN EXPERIENCE.
