The insurance for my Punto has been done by Bajaj Allianz. When I bought the car, the dealer was offering me Bajaj Allianz and Tata AIG. But since I had read more positive reviews about Bajaj Allianz, I decided to go ahead with it and I made the right choice. The dealer had offered me a quote of 18k. However, I directly contacted Bajaj Allianz since I was sure I would get a better deal because the dealer commissions would be cut out. For a fully comprehensive policy, I received a quote of somewhere around 12.5 - 13k I purchased the policy directly from the company, made the payment by cheque, faxed them the invoice of the car and I received the policy by post within 2 weeks. Along with the policy I also received a "card" which had all the policy details on it. Unfortunately, within two months of buying the car I met with an accident. A drunk biker smashed into the right front door and I had to send the car to the service station for repairs & bodywork. I lodged a claim, immediately received a confirmation sms with the details of the surveyor (his name, mobile number etc). The surveyor immediately completed the survey the following day and approved all repairs (replacement of door, RH side mirror assembly and repainting) Overall, I will give 5 stars to Bajaj Allianz for their professionalism and transparency. Following the good experience I had with Bajaj Allianz I have transferred the insurance of all my cars to Bajaj Allianz. I have referred a lot of friends to Bajaj Allianz and they are also happy with the service Bajaj Allianz has provided them.
