    Thanks Rajan. I will check the beading. I thought that it is because of the ORVM but I remember that Mr.Chennabasappa told that they removed the ORVM and put a paper and could able to hear the noise.
    @Punto_Emotion, you can see my post there also. It is a cross check with Krishna.

    As my punto is nearing its 15k km run its getting ready for its second service from perana motors peenya, i called up and got service booking for March - 2 Sat, here again i am in dilemma and little worried from the previous experience of 1st Service though booked the service half heatedly.
  3. Today got my punto's second servicing done at Prerana Motors@15300KMS. The service Bill came to Rs 5.9k..
    Had a good experience..

    Last Sunday Prerana conducted free service camp (the cleaning and checking up the oil levels). I heard from the SA on that day that the Vecto Motors will be functional in another 10 days and the service center in Vecto will be ready by March end.

    They are working overtime to get both the sales center and the service center up and running. You should be hearing from them soon.
  6. A person who has a Fiat and walks into the service center should come out happily with maximum satisfaction after getting proper service due to his/her vehicle. This outcome should not depend on owner knowing X or Z person in show room/service center nor because he claims to be very active in so and so forum or he flashes some stickers of them on the car. I'm particularly stating this because I see enough posts for Prerana/Vecto on this forum and also in some 'definitive" forums speaking very highly of them while stating that other service centers are not up to mark. But to each their own. I, myself had a very forgettable service experience for my T-Jet during 5000KM service( supposed to be as simple a service as it can get ! )with the same Prerana/Vecto motors team :(. Am I happy? certainly NOT with all the follow ups that I did. Whereas, service experiences that I used to get for my Punto with Concorde Mysore Road team was more than pleasant. Does that mean all are bad or good? I believe each one of them are as good or as bad as the other, at this moment .With most of these people starting with independent network of Fiat centers ,I believe every one should be given a chance to be on clean slate to start with and see how it goes and this is where presence of a strong process oriented system comes in handy for both - Prerana/Vecto in particular and Fiat in general. I hope they have done their homework and on the eve of inauguration, wish them all the best.

    The service at Vecto is not better than the other service just because due to the car owner knowing somebody there. I have at least referred a dozen people to Prerana motors for service and each one of them have returned happy with the service experience. And let me guarantee that none of them knew the service advisor or the owner or even the watchmen.

    Oh is it? really? I believe you have forgotten the day when you had to argue at Concorde Mysore road to get your accident issue resolved? I hope you have not forgotten the amount of lies the service center had to put forth to you to avoid you. Also did you forget the brake squeaking issue in your punto which could not be resolved by KHT?

    Short memory for convenience is not best way out.

    At present out of the 3 service centers, I still stand by my statement that Vecto/Prerana is far far ahead.

    +100. In complete sync with this statement. Process driven approach can give consistent quality of service.

    @nkrishnap, please dont take it upon yourself, when a person says he doesnt like it, its quiet obvious he doesnt like it..as far as I remember you dont represent neither of the SC, let people decide after reading our experiences which SC to go for..
    (For example say you suggest one of your very good friend to take his car to XYZ Sc which is the best in town, there during test drive they crash the car, how will you face your friend after that incident?)
    On a lighter note after visiting few SC in bangalore for my car's usual servicing I was very satisfied with Prerana...

    Nothing personal. All I wanted to highlight was the person being unreasonable. If one still reads between lines, then I am helpless.

    By the way I do not represent any service center or sales outlets.

    And on your note of facing the friend, probably let me quote it another way. You suggested a car to somebody, and that person gets a lemon. How would you face the person. So what we refer is from our past experience and not exactly knowing what the future has in store.

    Its nothing like that buddy, what I meant is if you find the SC good you will be going there obviously every time and maybe recommend it to others.But if somebody is not happy with the SC as maybe it didnt meet their expectations so it is upto them to decide whether they would go their again or not..

    And as for suggesting a car to your friend and it turning lemon is nothing but bad luck, it can happen with any car from any manufacturer..
