Got the vehicle from the service. Mr.Chennabasappa and Mr.Tharanath accompanied me till electronic city (via expressway) over the trial run. The cabin noise reduced to a very low level (earlier it was deafening), the brake noise also is reduced. They cleaned the scratch caused by somebody when I put the car in KHT (he offered maximum possible thing over the scratch but I refused as it was in very lesser area; as well told him that if the scratches become heavy, will put for painting again).

While doing the trials, he explained everything happened in the shop floor and the cause of the low wind cutting noise (will post it in proper thread) and brake sound happened. The aesthetics of the car he explained clearly. For my surprise, yesterday night my beauty was blinking like a new one came out of factory. They polished it clean and clear from inside to outside. He actually waited for my arrival (I told him that I will be reaching the SC by 7:30 but because of huge traffic I reached almost an hour late).

They checked the complete brake unit and the ABS unit. As a unit this time I was happy with what they done over the service and the response I received from them was really awesome. My ranking here is a 4*. Definitely will be coming back to you Prerana motors for my future services and will suggest to friends too to book their vehicles from you.

One more hospitality I liked is actually when I took the car out from the service the fuel level was very less (almost near the 3 liter mark) and I told that I can reach home as it is around 7 KM only and fill the tank from my regular fuel station. When I filled in I got call from Mr.Chennabasappa to ensure that the vehicle didn't stop in the middle for fuel. :)

Thanks for Mr.Krishna and Mr.Chennabasappa for the prompt service.

I guess they used the 3M rubbing compound to get rid of the scratches a bit. The rubbing compound in good hands can work wonders in getting rid of small scratches which have not gone to base coat paint level.

Mr. Chennabasappa really has loads of patience. I like the way he listens to the concerns and then does the required stuff to keep the customer happy.

If you find it good, wait for the new setup to open and settle down. You will find most of the odd things with the TASS missing in the FASS. A lot of planning is happening in the background. Just for the transparency and customer oriented service, I will definitely refer my friends to Prerana/Vecto motors in future. I got them one today :)

That's the best part about Mr. Chennabasappa. A person who can maintain a good personal relationship with customers can definitely keep the customers happy.

Any time mate. After all we belong to the FIAT family.

brief but good experience @ Prerana, Kudlu gate

My rear fog lamps had come off the other day.. not sure how it got dislodged from clamp/nut/what thats holds it there:).. Met Mr. Surendra who attended to me within 5mins after reporting at the reception. He inspected the issue and asked me to wait there itself. He was back in a min with his technician who put back the rear foggy to its rightful place. Overall it took 15mins which was pretty satisfying.

    Good work guys::T

During all this i met up with another Fiat owner Devanath.. He owned a palio 1.6 sports. had a small chat with him as he had issues with his car after an accident:(
I have invited him to be part of TFI and share his concerns, experiences with FIAT. Hope he will join sometime soon.

+100 for the mention. Even after the delivery, Surendra and Mr.Chennabasappa are following up with the feedback. Saturday also Surendra called and told to call him to inform if there is any issues happening.

@Krishna - Do you feel the wind cutting noise in your Linea? If it is there in my car at mild level, then all the models will be having this issue as the wing mirror design is the same for Punto and Linea.

Yes, the wind cutting is very much there and it gets pronounced if you have the door visors. This cannot be eliminated unless you remove the ORVMs. The best way to manage this is turn up the audio volume. But wait, the audio quality in Punto/Linea is nothing short of crap :A

Isn't the wind cutting noise more pronounced on the driver's side than on the passenger's side? If the ORVMs are the culprit, then wouldn't it be the same on both sides? I believe the problem to be with the beading on the inside of the window. Let me try and see if I can get a picture to show the difference between the driver side and passenger side. If that gap is plugged, then the wind noise should disappear.

I do not have this issue in my T-Jet, but have noticed it in other FIAT cars. So, getting the picture would take a bit of time.

This would be of great help. In my car the wind noise is too pronounced on the left side :(

Will wait for your inputs to see if this can be solved. Any help in getting rid of the windnoise is invalueable.

@punto_emotion - Thanks for the link. That is what I was talking about.

@nkrishnap - Please refer post #17 on the thread link posted above by @punto_emotion. That is exactly what I also notice. Check that beading in your car. Please do post your findings in the other thread, so everyone with this issue can benefit.
