    Bringing to the forum my recent experience with Vecto Motors. Sent across a mail to service@vecto and helpdesk@vecto. hope to see if anything happens. To be honest, I am actually not expecting much to change. High time start going to friendly neighborhood service centre like Pride who might be of more help. It really hurts to see this happen when Fiat has been the only car in the family.

    excerpts from the mail.

    "Dear Customer service team,

    I just wish to bring to your kind notice some of the basic issues that I still need to face after nearly 6 years of believing in this brand called FIAT and its "quality" cars and service..... i have given my car for service with the complaints as shown in the image attached. The AC vents (TOP AND BOTTOM) do not work and only the vent with the middle flow works. "AC IS WORKING" means it still blows and cools the driver and the passengers. I give the car on 09.06 and on... The next day i.e on 10th I am given to understand that now they need to take 4 days to open the dash to fix the electrical. I AM NOT READY to spend 4 days without a car and pay another 5000 Rupees as labour charge when the last four complaints in 2014 is for the same (Ref 01.01, 25.02, 03.04, 02.05 service records). I am not able to fathom why I should be paying for labor when the screw up happened when they replaced the evaporator and the settings earlier......NOW middle vent AC STOPS WORKING. It is no more cooling and it is HEATING BY BLOWING HOT AIR. AT 17 degrees, the AC doesn't work, It just heats and i am expected to happily accept ....

    The other issue is I am charged for two ornaments (part no 59117711 and 59064337) i.e for the wiper cover, 4th point in the image for the service sheet attached. This cover doesn't stick to the glass and that is the problem why I paid 1482 rupees in the first place. if the new parts are not sticking am I so crazy to get it replaced.

    If the service in Vecto is pathetic why are you again trying your luck out there. Try other service centres. I have been visiting Aadya motors, Nagwara for few times now. Quiet happy with the way they take care. Experienced myself and have seen other happy fiatian's there. Just check once. Might be far from your location but better than living in agony.

    I did my regular service at Vecto, Singsandra, last week. Since this was just oil changes, it was done quickly and satisfactorily.
    One change was that the service bill is sent to email ID, good one to have electronic copy.

    Am yet to get my first service done but recently I happened to drop in there just for Blue&Me issue. They rectified the issue & replaced it under warranty. The overall experience was satisfactory. Yet to drop in for full fledged service. I hope the same satisfaction continues even further during my services!!

    My experience @ Vecto Motors was satisfactory till now, except very first time my vehicle service was not done at all till evening due to some misunderstanding, but after i raised the issue with the service manager they taken up and completed in next 3 hours. This was happen in last year and my next visit all were OK with some minor goof-up. My all visit to KHT was always trouble free, but they are far off from my place. So Planing to go for the next service to Vecto, let me see how much they improved now. Is Mr.Kiran Prakash still the Service Manager there?

    Guys, Has anybody done timing chain replacement from vecto? My MJD 1.3 (not a 90 bhp) punto has done 65 K and going for service next week. I hear metal clatter at cold starts and disappears in few mins..can somebody post the approximate cost of just the timing chain replacement?

    i have just relocated from Chennai and was looking for Fiat Service center near Koramangala/HS layout and chosen Vecto motors. I found Vecto motors attended all my concerns and the billing was good 7.6K for the second free service. But their cleaning was pathetic., I had to show them all the spots/dusts during the delivery and told them that it is not as expected. Service Manager - Vijendra agreed to do another wash whenever I am free.. The other thing i noticed was these guys did not close the coolant section and the cap was kept on the wind shield - bonnet area. Since I was unable to pick the car from SS, asked the help from Vecto and nobody even noticed this. i was shocked to see that such basic stuffs have been missed... i am thinking if i should continue here or move to a different service center. Ramkay Fiat Chennai was way ahead in my personal opinion

    Recently had some scratches to my door repainted - was under insurance. The door paint was done properly but they did a miserable job by spraying (I am guessing gloss spray) all over the rear window and the roof. You can see the same when you are observing the car very closely in bright sunlight.
    Really not happy with their service and quality.
