    @Driv3r - I am a little confused by your posts:

    1. How did you deduce that it is the BCM at fault?
    2. You said you were stranded. How are you planning on driving to Chennai?

    I am not questioning your knowledge here. Just trying to understand the problem, to see if I can be of any help.

    Lemme clarify you one thing before proceeding.
    I had no intentions of adding salt to your wound. Just shared the experience i had as an information sharing. That is all.

    If you would like to consider my way of handling things as special treatment, be my guest. :|

    I believe its good and worth to share if good things happen to me regardless of how big or tiny it is. I said the same coz it was about service from Vecto. However, i feel bad that they did not properly handled your query. Hope things work out either ways.

    Having said that, i am NOT bragging here or any thing. I do not have intentions to continue argument on this as its just OT and waste of time.

    1. Just an educated guess with the little automotive knowledge I have, plus the symptoms observed. (No power supplied intermittently when key is at MAR, hence no cranking, central locking, power windows don't work intermittently, the media player turns off n resumes by itself, the LEDs on console light up randomly when on the move, and the MID goes blank, shows up lightly, and then normally)

    2. The same way how I would take it to Vecto or KHT or anywhere? Hoping that the BCU co-operates when I go to take the car. Else, push start or tow to workshop.

    RSA is not of much help here as I understand.

    Could you please elaborate the issue and why SC was contact when you have called the RSA directly..

    what exactly happened and the sequence is misleading in a way...

    Agreed. RSA will only take you to the nearest FASS. IIRC, when Shams Punto broke down due to timing chain breakage, he had to pay for the excess kms, as he wanted the car taken to KHT, but Aadya was the nearest FASS.

    From your problem description, it does indeed appear to be a BCM issue, albeit power related. The BCM is behind the fuse box beneath the steering wheel. Can you take the fuse box lid off and check if every single connection to that box is secure. To me, it sounds like a case of loose contact.

    Thanks, but no thanks for the gyaan. And I see the above line as BS. What wrong treatment did I do to Vecto?

    Advocates of Vecto can take a chill pill, I posted my experience with them, this forum is for that very reason.

    You are not helping anyone if your post itself is misleading, when you post in a public forum misleading anyone who reads the posts does not serve any purpose.

    Your post will end up being treated as BS.

    Advocates of Vecto.. ?? :) Everyone here is an advocate of FIAT not one particular FASS in bangalore or any other state for that matter, my dear friend, Get that first.

    One negative experience will not change the overall stature of one particular FASS FYI

    If you want to take shots, you are welcome to PM me, do not litter this thread.


    Suggest you to go back and read this thread from first, and learn how another TFI member was treated when he went in for running repairs. IIRC, in a similar fashion, few other advocates pounced on him when he expressed his displeasure here.

    Guys lets stop pointing to each other. Any other OT post might be deleted from now onwards.

    There were reasons in initial times (only one SC in Bangalore) and Vecto was overloaded.
    But since now they have quick service bay, they must accept small issues in that bay, instead of waiting for regular service booking queue to complete.
    However, when I went last time for servicing, I understood that they didn't have enough staff to handle. I don't know the current situation. I think situation is same.
