    After I took the car from the body shop that I put the car over the damage after the accident, I give :thumbs down:thumbs down:thumbs down. The response from the body shop people was not that great compared to the Service Advisers.

    This thread is closely monitored by Vecto (or nKrishnap) and they are taking corrective action to solve the inconveniences. I visited the service center today upon a call from Mr. Chennabasappa for solving the pending issues from my last service http://www.teamfiat.co.in/punto-1-3-mjd/8114-absolute-emotion-4.html#post177506.

    Issue #1: Slow winding RR LHS window glass
    Solution: They feel it's due to the weather strip runner in the window which is hampering the free movement of glass. They have ordered this spare on priority for me and promised to get it done within a week time.

    Issue #2: Oil marks all over the seats and fabric
    Solution:
    Got another round of cleaning today and now they are fresh and clean.

    Issue #3: Misalignment of glove box door. (Looks like they messed it up while replacing pollen filter)
    Solution: Got it fixed.

    Issue #4: Unable to tighten the center bolt which locks the Air filter cap to the base box
    Solution: Will be getting it fixed with a bigger bolt after re-threading while going for replacement of weather strip

    In the world of don't care 'after sales', we must appreciate both FIAT & Vecto's efforts in trying to solve customer issues. Will post my updates after getting Issues 1 & 4 solved.

    My Jet having done 12500 kms, I made a booking for 2nd free service online with Vecto motors for the 13th of July. I decded to book a slot more than 3 weeks in advance after reading the issues some people have had with getting a slot. I got a call as well as an email confirmation of my booking within the hour.

    Hope the service experience will be equally prompt and pleasant.

    The body shop work is pathetic. I specifically mentioned the gap in the frame is even in the boot but they didn't do anything about it. This I noticed while taking the car out from the SC and brought to the notice of Mr.Basappa as well. Now the changed headlamp/repainted front bumper is popping out (gap exactly under the right headlamp). It is oddly 20 days after I took the vehicle out from body shop. So more thumbs down. :thumbs down:thumbs down:thumbs down:thumbs down:thumbs down. It is more pain for me as I shifted house to Whitefield (near to office) and the service center is now 30 KM away. :(. Need to talk to Mr.Basappa again.

    @pdyDeva: I know that Mr.Chennabasappa and more than that Principal of Vecto Motors also monitoring this thread. But the problem is as FIAT came out and very few exclusive SC opened, the vehicles requiring for the service is more than the capacity. The SC people (Service Advisers and Mr.Basappa) are trying to bring the FIAT culture into body shop but those people are still in the TATA culture and that makes things bad.

    I am also going through a bad experience regarding the Fiat car service, My car (1.3 MJD Active) got accident and I called Fiat road assistance to get a crane to tow it till service center. He told he will organize the conference call regarding the distance and discuss about fare. But he didn't do that, after waiting for a hour for his conference call. I decided to go for other crane service and hired it and towed my car to Vecto motors on 12 June 2013. when I meet service adviser in Vecto motors,
    he is saying it takes two months to repair it and I have other 20 vehicles to clear. The only procedure he did is filling the insurance form, it has been almost a week now when i asked about the status of the vehicle he told he is not yet done any Estimation he will do on Sunday's when it is calm and free he can't do on week days as he will have lot of interruption and busy with other work.

    suggest me what shall I do now.

    Why was it lifted with the crane causing more damage when it could have been towed using a flat bed truck? The tyres do not look damaged so it could have been easily mounted onto a flat bed.
  7. Lifting with crane creates more damage. I am also affected by this. I have towed my car to KHT motors on june 15,which has major impact,and estimate given by KHT was 90k for repair. Insurance is also approved. I think vecto motors simply delaying the work.

    Ouch.. it pains to use a crane to tow the car. what happened which caused this level of damage??

    Actually i used crane for 3 KM to pull it to near by Police Station, Later i used towing vehicle till service center, may be i did a mistake using this crane it caused more damage I guess. That day i didn't have any choice everything happened suddenly.

    When I called Concorde motors they told only Prerana motors does the service for Fiat, and I found only Vecto motors in fiat website i didn't know KHT does body repair, even when I meet service adviser he said for Vecto motors is the only body shop for whole Karnataka. As you have gone through the process can you tell me how many days it takes to approved by insurance and what is the process. thank you for replying the post

  10. I submitted claim form on June 17th evening and the estimationof 90,000rs was given on june 19th. Approval was given on June 21st as it was a major impact.
