re: FIAT Exclusive Service Center: Vecto (Prerana) Motors , Bangalore

I am sorry, Aadya motors were the one to say "Sir, you did your first service at Vecto, so show them your vehicle about the bouncy ride or bad suspension as we do not know what components Vecto motors have checked during the first service".. that's the last thing a customer would like to hear who has invested his hard earned money and gave dealer cash and took the delivery of car.

Atleast Vecto, acknowledged and took my car without any prior appointment just to troubleshoot the issue. But Aadya seemed to be reluctant until I escalated the issue to Mr. Mangesh Kodalkar.

I was talking about punto/ linea and not palio. Only puntos and lineas were serviced at dairy circle. Most of the members (including me ) who have got their cars serviced at Concorde dairy circle are all praises about SA Mashud Khan who used to be very knowledgeable. You might have had a bad experience but that doesn't mean that you go on writing that Vecto is the best and all others are second to them. majority counts here and not one person's opinion.

Just reading about all this commotion. Both TFI Vecto thread and Tbhp thread are bombarded with tall claims about each SC being better than the other and how everybody has different experience. Please understand that each individual will have his own unique experience which cannot be negated by the other just bcoz they had a better/worse treatment during a particular visit. This is a community and here majority of opinion matter. Unfortunately thats the hard truth

On Another note we should all try and understand that any SA is also human(irrespective of Concorde/Vecto/KHT/Aadya) and will not have all the knowledge to troubleshoot all the issues faced by fiats. While proper training by fiat is the key for proper troubleshooting, rest comes with experience. To understand an issue correctly, one has to be trained, should have the experience and the interest level to understand the nitty gritty of each and every part which may be cause of an issue. Unfortunately not everybody had such levels of commitment.

Haven't you all come across/know of situations when trained doctors diagnose the illness in wrong manner. Thats why we always have second opinions.

Similarly each and every customer has a choice for Sales & Service ( at least in bglore). If you dont find the reasons stated by the SA to be convincing check out other SC before you finalize but all that doesn't mean a particular SC is bad or better than others. Go with the one which rectifies your issue and is open to improve the service.

My 2 cents. Stop going off topic. One has to think what sort of impression does this make to a 3rd person viewing all this commotion.

In some way if we can help each other, thats what is to focused rather than all this..

Primarily, I have noticed some members going overboard with their praise of a specific service provider and trying to summarily dismiss others' posts about poor experiences they have had at the same place. As long as we post our experiences in an unbiased fashion, it is OK. Sometimes I wonder why some people indulge in marketing an outlet. Is there more to it than meets the eye, one wonders? :confused

Pauleralil, you got my point. quoted above is what I had mentioned in my previous post in this thread.
we have a friend here who is all praises for one SC not sure exactly why but to say the least I am fed up of reading those posts. especially the ones which are meant to demean other SCs.

OK!! no offense meant to anybody. Repeat "Anybody. My response was because I Just felt the thread is being :hijacked and was not adding any value to the time i spent on this forum. (i am being selfish here:mrgreen: )

I follow the golden principle of "Remain Silent. Only speak when needed :) " and found it to be very effective.

I just want to add that the mechanics and the SAs at Vecto motors are gifted to get lot of leaves from work. I know it's too much to indulge into Vecto's management policies, but at end of the day we FIAT customers need to wait for their service. I have made 3-4 visits to Vecto till now and every time one or other SA will be on leave and so I will be forced to wait for long to attend a simple issue. Instead of leaves, Vecto can offer additional incentives to mechanics or SAs who work extra hours and satisfy the customers too. Trust me, a customer who has invested lacs of rupees to own a car won't be interested to know that his car can't be attended as there are no much SAs on duty for the day.

PS: This reason of SA is on leave gives me an impression of trying to get some work done at government office instead of FIAT service.

I put the car for the 15K service last week. Actually I thought of booking but it was running late after my wife's delivery, putting her in my in-law's house and all. So I directly took the car to Vecto SC 15 days back and I got good response from Mr.Chennabasappa. He asked to take the car last week. I took and SA helped me with noting down all the complaints and gave me a quote of 6100. The next day I was supposed to pick the car around 11 but due to some emergency I needed the car and I went there by 9:30 after informing SA and the car was ready. They were supposed to do the water wash but due to emergency, I asked them to clean only the glass parts. They done it immediately and asked me to bring the car for water wash this week (mentioned in the bill that water wash should be done). The final bill came 5600. I paid it and took the car to drive on the longest run of my car till date to my native. She responded greatly. Kudos to the service center.

  9. Sham,
I completely agree with you,I like KHT as I get most of spares with them in stock but at the same time I take leave or go on weekend to keep an eye on what is happening with my car as consistently was missing in Concorde but KHT too the same story.
One thing what I found out was if you have some one known there things work out better.

@Sat, It's how we make friends in all parts, even in Sales, Service, etc. My friends usually asks me about the cars as I usually read reviews of automobile and electronics. I suggest them Fiat and when they shown interest I provide numbers of sales people. So I usually in contact with people. As well when i was frustrated on my first incident of left out in middle of nowhere, Krishna helped me to contact people and the tradition continues. It is not about knowing people there but the service center's initiation to reach out to the customers. I was reached out by the SC people and friends here and getting right support.
