    thanks for ur feedback!
Planning to cancel my appointment at Torrid & take the car to Pune for servicing. I have some major suspension work to be done. Dont trust any Mumbai guys now. Worli TCRS has also stopped taking Fiat cars!

That's a good idea if you can do it. Torrid is not yet geared for major jobs I think, since they have just started. Another 2 months maybe things will change.

Surpring that a Happy Camp has been organized at Horrid ooops sorry Torrid Motors. I guess this must be a brand building exercise by Fiat. Why not drop in again to see if they have made any changes post your outburst.

Took an appointment for coming Monday with Pandit Auto, Pune. Taking a big effort to go till there to get the work done, so hopefully things are sorted out fully (though FIAT history says that 100% work is impossible)! Dread to think if they dont deliver the car in a day, I ll have to go again!

I am at Torrid motors right now for a suspension problem. I love the fact that its so close to my residence. Lets hope they do a decent enough job.
Look and feel wise they are more polished than any TASS that I have seen. (Both Om Sai and TCRS Worli were competent nevertheless)
Both Torrid and Fiat have been smart. Fiat shares the roof with Nissan, and the compound with VW. So it has about half the normal workshop space, which should be ok considering the sales.
Parts seem to be a bit of a problem - brake pads are not available.
And I have just been informed that they are just servicing cars and identifying problems. Actual repairing may begin only after 2nd October.

    Mayur,

I went there for parts for Linea MJD, they just took their time to give me the quotation, 3 whole days after continuous follow-up. That Parag Vaidya is a rude and reckless guy indeed, and was apparently pulled up in front of his VP by one of his colleagues in my particular case atleast. He has ego problems with few of his colleagues and from sources working within the FASS he just creates problems for customers and shows them rule books.

Anyways, I finally took off from there with my Linea spares. He quotes to me 4 days for a 1 or 1.5 day job. I had a chance to speak to one of the mechanics and they are really down to earth good people there. The work carried out there also appears to be sincere and systematic; atleast on the car ramps.

For anyone going to Torrid motors, contact this Rajendra person who is the most level headed, friendly and helpfull person there. The second best person is Avinash More the SA there.

Dunno how people like parag reach important positions. They don't value Customer service but become managers. Not sure how they get away unnoticed in the whole scheme of things. Anyways I think my EGR valve has to be replaced.the cleaning of the valve has got rid of the CEL lamp but the pickup has gone for a toss. Car has become very sluggish needs too be revd more than usual.this is impacting fuel consumption as well. In absence of a choice will be calling Torrid tomorrow for this.let's see what they have to say this time.

I gave my car for repair at Torrid motors for the "suspension" noise problem. On the last visit, SA Avinash had diagnosed it to be a steering column issue rather than the suspension rod which means it gets covered under extended warranty.
Avinash has left Torrid and my SA is Makarand.
Lets see how it goes. My last visit was reasonably satisfactory.
Incidentally, I also met Ratan there.

A new exclusive Fiat sales outlet (TORRID) is coming up @ Andheri East next to Sai Service on the Highway.

@abk1980 - is SA Makarand the same guy working with Fortune Sakinaka earlier ?
