The above quoted experience is from 2010 from the Fiat-Tata SC of the same dealer. Thought of sharing it here because i believe its the same people who used to work on Fiat cars back then, are now working in this new Fiat SC. If i remember correctly, i had met Mr Sakthivel that time. I had liked their attitude of being eager to help, more than anything else.

After the issue of oil spillage and the car not accelerating beyond 100, linealover availed RSA from Fiat and the car was taken in flat bed truck and was dropped at the True Sai Motorss Service in Salem. Further read on this here - http://www.teamfiat.co.in/dealership-service-review/6803-note-appreciation-fiat-2.html#post190334

Here, I must appreciate Mr. Sakthivel for taking the call at 11 pm and again at 1.30 AM just to guide us to drop the car at their service center. He was extremely helpful at that point of time and he extended assistance without any sorts of hesitation.

This morning the car was taken to the ramp and the mechanics started their diagnosis. Soon, they found that the issue of oil spillage is caused by faulty oil sealant. And also they identified crack (more than an inch) on the turbo hose. The question of how both these issues surfaced together is still a mistery. They had the required parts in stock and starting working on it immediately. The car was taken for a test ride after the work, and linealover pushed it until 160 and everything was perfect. Total bill was Rs. 1400 including parts, labor and tax.

I leave it to linealover for the rest of the report and pictures. He will do it once he reaches Chennai.

The car is now on its way to Chennai. :)

    That's exceptional support by Mr.Sakthivel!

Now that's one more reassurance for me to consider driving the car to Salem for the 30K service as well :)

Oh boy, that seems like quite a bit of oil spill.

That particular guy working on the car is very talented. He worked on my 90HP's PDI, and he changed all fluids (Engine, coolant, transmission), air filter, AC O-rings, Fuel filter, timing chain and the rear axle for my 90HP.

Wonder why the oil seal gave up? Was that area worked upon when timing chain was changed?

when replacing timing chain, engine oil is drained hence new oil seal would have been (mis)put.

I didn't know this. I will ask him to check the bill which he got for the timing chain replacement. If it was replaced, we will send the feedback across to Ramkay for sure.

My Linea went for the 5th paid service at True Sai Motorss a week back. Read more details here - http://www.teamfiat.co.in/linea-1-3-mjd/5865-poetry-wheels-my-linea-mjd-46.html#post841901761.

Overall experience at the Service centre was very good. They were taking careful decisions on replacing the parts. I asked them to replace the front brake discs. They said it is not needed and is still good to go. And asked them why not do timing chain now at 55k instead of 60k. They again not to do it unnecessarily at this time and asked me drive till 60k and then change it. :)

I was also there last week [17th April] for 85K service & clutch kit replacement. Regularly I do my service in KHT Bangalore. This time dropped car in True Sai Salem.
    Overall experience is very good.

After reaching Bangalore noticed some kat kat noise from engine, Only during steep reverse movement. Called up Service Manager(Mr. Sakthivel) yesterday. He is very much supportive, hope problem will be resolved on my next visit.
