Sorry to hear about this Jayanth, but not surprised. I request you to write it to Mangesh. I remember mrs nisha presented on the meet day that they have an expressbay, where is it?

    Some people never change.
Sky is washing all the efforts put by pandit to create a good image of FIAT. Two service centres located one at North and one at South of Pune so is their working culture :)

JayKis, Sorry to know about your experience man. Can somebody explain to me what special thing is done by FIAT ASC during oil change.

Get the car on ramp or hoist. Drain oil by twisting the nut open. Close the nut. Open the oil cap. Fill the oil. Check the level. Fire up the engine. Let it idle for some time. Check for oil leaks if any and roll out the car. If done right it should take not a minute more than 25mins tops. Lets call it half an hour.

But this one was insane.

Jaykis, sorry to hear it took so long.

I wonder why they have express bays if they can't do a simple oil/oil filter change quickly. If someone at the service center just takes a few minutes to divide the usual service from the smaller jobs and assign it directly to the express bays I guess things will work a lot better and faster.

OT: I remember some discounts were promised to TFI members during the meet, did you get any discount?

    Total cost : Rs 16300/-
Work description : AC gas leakage, AC gas top up, Break pads, Link rods.
Also there was some noise coming from front suspension. It is fixed now.

Friends, i too had been to this SC two months ago for my Palio's regular service n with brake caliper issue.
It was gud to see a change as i used to visit Pandit auto previously on d same place. Lately Pandit auto SA mr.Ravi n vikas yeole tried to take me for a ride before shifting. For a simple problem, related to sparkplug, they could not figure out. They kept d car for around a Week, changed n charged for idling sensor, sparkplug, but after a Week they informd that d issue is related to valves or ecu and it will take min. 15 days.
I pulled my palio saying i will bring it Back once the parts r available. They charged extra for few parts n labour but on cross questioning got revised Bill n amt. Bill also stated sparkplugs changed, but in actual they werent. Main issue of jerks was nt resolved. Finally i got it rresolved at my old trusted tata mechanic...with whom i had to work along as He handles only diesel vehicles.

I take this on me as lessons learnt because i trusted the service advisor of Pandit auto because of 2 yr association and was not aware of the change or shifting of workstation.

Anyways, coming to SKY MOTO my experience was pretty Good. SA Ms. Ujjwala handled the case. It was strange to see a lady advisor in an automotive field n that too on technical side.. She does have gud knowledge and answers technically right. Almost all issue were taken care, expect that they did not have accelerator cable, engine filler cap n few plastic trim parts. I ordered one for which they asked me to wait for a Week. I did recieved 2 calls till date for feedback and twice to inform that they have ordered the cable n other parts but it may take time... Now Its been more than 2-3 months n there is no response. Hope they are reading this.

They are New so it may take some time, but not too much. They are slow in service but do take care of the vehicles.
Estimated and finally Bill was almost same... So no issue on that front.
For same type of work, SA of Pandit auto akurdi charged additional...

    Hi Friends,

I wanted help to decide between Pandit auto Bavdhan and Sky Moto, Akurdi for the 45k km servicing of my Punto Grande Diesel. I've been going to Pandit auto for the last couple of times and there were no Major incidents or complaints as yet.
Though, PA Bavdhan is convenient for me, I want to make sure that my Punto gets the best care possible like everyone else :)

I've been getting calls from both stations but I can't make up my mind whether to stick to PA or try Sky Moto.

I would really appreciate if someone could guide me with the following:
    - PA vs Sky - which is a better - in terms of genuine care.
    - I know it is always better to be there the whole time for the servicing, but can either be trusted for a pickup/drop service or not being there the whole time?
I had used this with PA last time - unfortunately did not have a way to check whether the servicing was carried out properly.
    - What can be the approx. expected charges for a 45k km service - considering the car is in quite good condition, still!
Sky Moto representative had called and mentioned that 45k is a major service and will have a lot of stuff changing but the technical advisor will provide details once I book the servicing. I though the 60k km was major.

Usually I would have just gone with PA but this time I wanted to get some guidance considering its 45k and not free.

    Thanks again!

    Thanks & Regards,

Major service is done if your car has completed 2years(require all oil changes) aprox cost will be around 10K. I recently did my service for 45k from sky moto and found nothing negetive about them except billing process.

Thank you Abhishek. The car is 3 year old - on 30k km service they had changed oil etc.
What was the problem with the billing?

Hey Sid I'm in the same boat(or should I say car :) ) as yours. Did my last couple services from PA Bavdhan. No major problem as such. For the 3yr/45k service, SkyMoto is calling up repeatedly for an appointment. Was wondering whether I should try their service this time.
Are you done with your service at SkyMoto? If yes, what was the experience like? Please let me know once you've any updates here.
