During my visit to sky moto for 45 K service, pleased to see more numbers of Palios as compared with Puntos and Lineas :)

Min 80% of cars were Palios all models.

    Hi Friends,

I got my Linea Dynamite 1.3 serviced from this service center. And believe me it was really nice experience. Initially I thought it would be same experience like Tata's ( I had an Indica V2 DLS earlier) but to my pleasant surprise it was a great experience. Though for service booking confirmation I had to follow them, but that anger lost away after stepping in at the service center. I knew the place and I took the delivery from there itself.

I had a service booking at 9:30 am on 21/11/2013; I reached five minutes and four kms late. (Odometer has clocked 5004 kms.) Mr. Nitin the service adviser was busy with some Linea Customer. Within five minutes he attended me and explain what all things are going to be checked in this service. Apart from this there was free service mela going on and he only told about to me. I didn't saw banner or poster or any other information regarding this mela neither at service center nor at any other place. Anyways it was free and he showed me the checklist for the same.

My other point of concern were noted down on the job card, such as thud sound from front right of the car, the gap between left front armrest and power window switch panel, rattling sound from front windshield air blower, rear left door closure abnormal sound. He told me that I will get my car around 4:30 pm. I got a call from him at 4:15 pm stating car is ready for delivery. I reached there at 5:15 and took the delivery. All my points of concern were attended and he told me that he has examined all ball joint / link rod and they are fine but he had tighten them so that thud sound has vanished along with the rattling sound from front windshield air blower. SA told me, he had replaced the rear suspension rubber pads free of cost which was causing some noise from rear though I haven't observed this.

I had a small dent on right front RVM, and a small scratch above Right front glass. (Thanks to a biker moron, who hit me on NH 50 in opposite direction and his right mirror caused this dent ). I showed this to him, actually forgot to tell about this in morning. But he managed to remove this dent (Very small about 4-5 mm in size) by painting it in white color. This is visible only if anyone observe it from 2-3 feet. Scratch above front right glass was also removed by rubbing the area with some machine, I was not present there as I was busy with seat covers. They have now accessories to sell there itself. Three months ago when I took the delivery I inquired about the same and that time this accessory shop (?) was not there. Anyways I didn't like the seat covers as for center arm rest (both front and rear ) and door panels they were not having any solution. I planning to get seat covers from CarAx, Baner or Car Cupid, Pashan very soon.

About Invoice : I got raw bill, as system was slow. (I doubt, because in front of me SA was entering all the details of car in the system; how only invoice part of the same will be slow?) He assured me, the system invoice will be mailed to me in 2-3 days. The bill amount was Rs. 350.00 which was for service plus in which interior polishing is done including boot also.

    Hi PuntoMJD,
Have you got the service invoice by e-mail or not?

Overall it was nice experience and kudos to them. The customer service manager Ms. Neesha was very co-operative and she helped me in earlier issues also.

Thanks for reading upto this point.

    Shitty Time Management

The shittiest time management ever seen!!

I had an appointment with Sky moto, Akurdi, Pune for the 10.00 am slot for an oil change (yes just an oil change) and reached there sharp at 10.00 am for the service. The customer service was prompt initially by Ujwala and the requirements were done in the first 10 minutes.

Even at 11.45 the car hadn't moved an inch from where it had been parked and I was getting really pissed off about it. A good rant at the reception and the receptionist send her customer relationship manager Nisha for the problem solution. She wasnt of any help either. Then she brought in the service head who said the delay was because of the other cars being attended to. The car was finally on the lift by 12.00 and the oil change should have been done by in max 1300 hours before the lunch break. But after the cleaning and washing (which I never asked in the first place) I finally got the car at 1530 hours!! Frustration.gif

For a job which should have taken 45 minutes (1 hour at the max) for the oil change I had to spent like 5 hours 30 minutes waiting for these guys to deliver the car.

Do these guys actually know what an APPOINTMENT means? If we had to just leave it at the service centre then why do we need a freaking appointment in the first place? By any standards, 5 hours 30 minutes for an oil change is the worst I have ever come across!!

N.B: This rant is only aimed at the management of the dealership. The roles being aimed at are the service representative and the customer relationship manager. The actual technicians did go about the work in a much timely and organized manner.
