please enable payment through credit cards and cheque without extra 2% charges as carrying cash amounting exact figures not always convinient.
today I had gone to service my car and it was astonishing to fi,d that charge extra for credit card payment and do not accept cheque. Got to talk to Fiat to get their acts together before real loyal customers stray.
Hope the spares are available to get car service done instead of waiting for spares to arrive from company.
I stay in Rajahmundry, E.G. Dist., in Andhra Pradesh, and am having to drive down to either Hyderabad or Chennai.
Going through the reviews on service at Hyderabad, this time I went to Ramkay fiat, Chennai for my 90k service
. I was not pleased with their handling, response and quality. The reviews on their services can be read in this forums.
Sukanya, CRM, was hardly helpful. And to top it the language barrier was a big issue.
I had to take help of my local friend in interacting with the team.
RDC fiat, Chennai, NEVER responded for service booked online and I had no other option but to take drive down Ram Kay.
Next time, I wish to drive down to your service center for my 1 lakh service.
I do hope it would be a better experience. I shall be taking prior appointment and shall drive down. I expect the vehicle to be delivered on the same day. Would it be possible as I need to drive back to vizag?
No major issues except for routine service done regularly.

Yes we have all the parts required for your 1lakh km service, i.e the basic things required for that particular service interval.
Any other parts if required can be checked in stock only after checking the vehicle.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you during your service visit.
As per our company policy we can accept the cheque but the car will be released only after the cheque is cleared as we don't have credit policy.
And for the 2% charge on credit card is charged by us for bank charges as we have a fixed margin unlike in other industry where margin is not fixed,and it is for this reason we generally ask customers to pay by cash or to withdraw from near by ATM and then pay.
We don't force anyone to pay by card.

I understand your point on payment by cheque. But, I couldn't actually get your point on the 2% charge for the card payments. I have never been charged this anywhere by any dealer for extra charges for payment by card. How do other Fiat dealers manage this?
We have just started 5 months back and so the credit card swapping is not don't much. And so the bank charges for using the card machine is high.We have already talked with our banker for this issue and the same will be resolved soon.

even I have never paid extra for cc payment for service. Somehow both fiat and dealer should sort it soon or we would stray
At Pandit Auto, Pune, we dont pay so called 2% on card payment.
