    Guys taken have delivery of my car yesterday. Suspension is fine it seems and doesnt need any replacement the culprit was the mud and sand accumulated in it. I had not given the car for complete water wash and underchasis wash for past 8months now. After the wash it is back to stock condition.

    Still my seat rattling is not fixed. The ordered part for my car was wrong it seems. Mine is a active but the one ordered was of emotion. So they have again placed the order of the same. Need to take back the car again.

    Dashboard rattling has been arrested culprit is the A/C pipe under the dash.

    Powerwindow assembley ie Door Channel, Motor's,etc are all replaced in warranty including the Door handle and door lock for front driver side.

    Read window winder also replaced in warranty.

    Tyres has been rotated and balanced and aligned. I had not seen any wobbling as of now. Need to check on the same again.

    Fuel Filter was replaced as it was not done during my 3rd service due to spares unavailability and was charged 1800.

    Wiper blades also replaced was charged 1450.

    Total Cost 4910 (Fuel Filter, Wiper blades and labour charges(1660 for alignment, balancing and other's)). I think the cost seems too high.

    FIAT has approved for the repainting the car whereever there has been rust. So far 3 places had been identified in the car and will be repainted by April 1st week as i have got some work this month and cant be without car for 4-5days.

    Seems like I have given them too much of credit upfront.

    Bad news, went to my trusted independent body shop and they have confirmed that the damage is surely by impact of a tool, I am not able to recollect the name of it. Too late for me to ask them a new door, the crossovers are glued to the door.

    Here are pics from both angles.

    Other than this, the starting problem reported is still there, and engine knocking reported is still there 5%. And the front suspension gives a crashing noise when into potholes. Was given the usual, we ll tighten everything sir reply.

    Lesson learnt, do not give credit just because they are Fiat exclusive. The TATA blood is still running and am dreaded of it. Wondering if I should give my prized possession to these clowns for fixing the dents they created, as they would ask 10 freaking days for the job out of which car would stand idle for 9 days and receive more dents.

    Please take few pics of car before leaving to them and ask the SA to cross check in the diagram and mark all possible dents.

    This is very unfortunate!

    One more thing which I don't like is while delivering the car, SA should never ask for,"Sir! when someone from FIAT calls you please give all 10".
    In my opinion this is a real bad practice and the customer should not get influenced by this request and share only their true feedback then only the mistakes will get corrected.

    Dropped my car for the 3rd service and body work for the running board accident. It was no way better than TASS. Its the bad blood from TASS that fiat should get rid off. The SA, just snatched the job card booklet from the bodyshop advisor, while I was being attended, as there was a VIP customer I guess. The SA even had the audacity to tell me that he'll revert to me no sooner than I'm done with the body shop advisor. I wonder how will I be done, when this moron has snatched the Job Card booklet from my body shop advisor.:confused:

    Had to make a 2nd trip to handover the documentation required for claiming insurance. Met fellow TFIan DRIV3R, exchanged phone numbers and he shared his side of the story on how these guys have put a dent on his passenger side front door.

    By the way we were witnesses to how badly these guys treat our cars, under the pretext of trying to move them around the service centre to accomodate more cars.

    Also I was called by the same guy that snatched the Job Card Booklet, Abinashok, asking me if they can change the wiper blades, as they have gone too stiff. I'm not sure or I don't find them stiff. Is it necessary to change them at the 30K service?

    Don't get it from them as it is very expensive and it hardly rains here in chennai :p
    Get any aftermarket ones for cheap and fix it yourself. Same thing goes for brake pads.

    Punto Maniac let me help you out. I will raise this issue to Mr Chandrasekar the chairman of RDC. I know apart from Tensing other SA's are still in the TASS culture and not adopted the FASS culture. I had already raised this point to chairman of RDC. Even the car wash is not in perfect condition and they dont treat some customer's properly me being exceptional as i have keep on picking and pointing the SA's,Tensing and the Chairman.

    Guys if in case anyone of you feel that your car or you are not treated properly in RDC do send me your feedback so that i can raise this to the Chairman of RDC or immediately esclate it to Tensing. If he is not able to do anything then directly talk to MR.JP(Jayapraksh) who is in charge of the RDC service center. Else directly talk to the Chairman and mention my name Bharath and ask him to talk to me in person.

    Guys finally still the process is in transition phase from TATA to FIAT and there will be few niggles and we have to behind them keep on poking,moking them so that our FIAT's are treated well.

    BTW I changed my wiper blades and it is very costly and same can be purchased out much cheaper.

    No need to do any of that. Uust speak to Tensingh and tell him you are unhappy with these specific things and he will get them fixed promptly.

    The brakes in my car have lost their efficiency too, i could feel it when i brake at traffic lights, it requires a lot of additional effort to bring the car to a complete halt. If the pads are expensive to change at A.S.S, then i will have to do it myself. What savings are we referring to here, by saying its cheaper to get them done outside:???:?

    The insurance surveyor is yet to assess the car, as i've multiple claims and they are confused which claim is for which incident...will go check the car out and share my feedback with Tensingh tomorrow, when the surveyor is there.

    I had a good experience at RDC Motors during my 2nd service on 9th March 2013.

    Standard 2nd Service Jobs carried out:
    1. Engine Oil Change
    2. Oil Filter Change
    3. Fuel Filter change
    4. Air Filter Change
    5. Pollen Filter Change

    Issues reported and addressed:
    1. Bouncy Suspension - They spent a whole day trying to figure it out and did a good job as it drives a lot better now. Unfortunately, it is still not what it should be so they have placed the order and will update me as soon as it arrives. The complete set will be replaced under warranty.
    2. Excessive Engine Knocking - Considerably reduced.
    3. Excessive Engine Noise - Still the same, hope the additive helps here as well.
    4. Excessive Engine Noise in the cabin - Still the same, will go for some good quality dampening material.
    5. Mud Flaps changed to the Moulded Absolute edition, very cool.
    6. Got the balance Engine Oil in the 4 Liter Selenia can
    7. Car Cleaning was strictly average but way better than the Tata Service Center
    8. Link Rod is lose and makes a noise upon braking - Unresolved for now

    The famous Tensingh who heads the RDC Fiat Service Center and was heading the Tafe Service Center earlier. He is the only hope Fiat customers have in Chennai. A very patient man who is always willing to fix every single issue in our Fiats.
