I am sure going to mark them down if someone calls me for a Customer Feedback survey.

After staring at the bill for a long time im still clueless about what they have done. Below mentioned is what all I have in the bill.

    1) Consumables - 4 Qty rate 35/QTY- Amount 140 - Vat 20 = Total 160
    2) Labour Charges 1690 + Vat 209 = Total 1899

Body shop bill is like Labour charges 2670 + Vat 330 = Total 3000

Is this how you usually receive the bills from Fiat or its clear with the item list ?

    Another thing !!! :A

Bonnet Packing for right side missing. And I feel difference in sound while closing it. Just a month of owning a Fiat and I feel the heat in my butt. SA also was asking me to let him know in case of any issues with the AC as he feels something wrong with it. It was absolutely working fine and dont know what makes him feel like that.

I went and checked vehicle again and when turned on the AC I was getting a wave of heat and found that engine is also super hot even after remaining off for 1-2 hours. Does it take this much of time for engine to cool off or have they screwed the heart of my car aswell :confused

    Chill mate.

The bonnet packing, (as you call it) will not be present on the right side, to not prevent airflow to the air intake. It is the rubber gasket kind of thing attached to the hood.

The heating is normal and heat waves will emanate from the car when AC is running.

My experiance with RDC is not at all good. Will try Ramkay once and if that is also not up to the mark, I will move on to some good multi car service center like Bosch or TVS.

And loose warranty? Stick to ASC until you complete the extended warranty period.

Manufacturers warranty already over last week and not sure if they can transfer the extended warranty to the second owner's name . Even if they do, I dont trust RDC motors anymore who was cribbing to get just a plastic plate on the steering column replaced which was broken by them while doing steering straightening. On top of it they were trying to put the blame on me stating it was already broken and they tried fixing it using glue.

Will try Ramkay once for sure. If satisfied will continue with Fass if not !! I dont know may be everytime I will end up:boxer with them.

Are you sure that Bosch and TVS are better than FASS?

I still remember that the erstwhile Sundaram Motors (TVS group) was always blamed for ruining the Fiat service during the Palio days.

I have not had any direct encounter with any of these centers for my Fiat yet. I had been to Bosch in Vadapalani with my ritz once and the result was satisfactory. When I went to take a quote for the scratch removal in a bosch authorised service center in Ambattur Industrial estate, saw few Fiat cars there which include an s10. So I thought they have better service personnel than FASS (atleast RDC Fiat for sure).

I am yet to experience Ramkay Fiat and after that I am leftout with no choice in entire chennai other than these Multi Brand Service centers.

Coming from maruti, Im new to this so experienced fellow Fiatians can help me with other options I can use to keep my Lady in Red healthy.

    Thanks in advance

  10. My experience with RDC FIAT.

I went to RDC fiat for checking sluggish behavior when A.C is ON. I sharply reached there at 9.05 AM so that i may get back car soon.

I was waiting waiting waiting till 10.30 AM no SA came to receive my car. Actually i was specific to meet a know SA but he was busy and guided another person to handle my car, but that man was not a expert to handle my problem.
so i said him to replace the wiper blade and to carry out general checkup bcoz i my planning a weekend trip to mysore and coorg.

Even though the service center was free, not fully loaded with cars. But inside all ramps were with car with working going on. I have attached a photo of service center were u can see just few no of cars waiting for service. even tough i asked to wait till 10.30 to receive my car.
after putting the job card they took my car for test ride to check the pick up on A.C. they carried out general checkup, replaced the wiper blades and gave the car back at 3 pm.
    They charged
    1.450 for general checkup
    2.450 for examiner . ( i dont know what they examined )
3.other charges for wiperblade and consumbles and Rs.75 for fitting the wiper blades.

finally what i felt is ... They are slow in taking the vehicles and delivering. And unnecessarily paid 450 for examiner. I don't know correctly what they did. Didn't feel any change .
