    Thanks RDC and Ravi for your replies.Well, to keep things more clear, I am not expecting the scratches to be covered Free of cost atleast. But,what i expect from RDC as a service centre, is a very clean paint job which matches the factory finish.The reason why i am in search of other paint shops rather than RDC is, i read so many negative comments about RDC about their Body shop work and paint job. I just can't tolerate a second quality body shop work in my car. I want my car to be good looking as new if i ever get a paint job or body work. I am not sure if things have improved now after the body shop is being moved to Guindy. May be, people who have experienced them recently can answer about this here.

    Delivery of my car from RDC service is slipped by a day (I hope it is a day..). Just now got the information from SA that my Rear Right PW Winder part and Absolute Mud Flap Part has not yet arrived. The SA told over the phone that the Glow plug has been changed and we are waiting for the other Part to arrive. At the time of giving the car for service the SA assured me in that the Part will arrive by noon and the vehicle delivery can be delivered by evening. A friday evening without a car is really annoying. I hope RDC delivers my vehicle by tomorrow morning such that my weekend plans does not take a toss.
    Now my wait starts

    An update from my side. I received my car yesterday from RDC workshop job completed was only glow plug change. The RR winder part and absolute mud flap part did not arrive hence I had to take back the car at any cost as I had to leave out of town. I am bit disappointed with the non arrival of the part.
    RDC, kindly push from your end so as to have the part fixed in the coming week as I am leaving out of town next weekend.

    I still am not able to fathom how service centres work. Cant they have at least one/ minimum pieces of each part that could possibly fail in a car , a decision that can be made out of several years of experience in car service. Also current gen fiats have been around for almost 5 years and it is time for parts to fail. No rocket science this. This habit of ordering a part every time a requirement crops up, is simply not working and it is only creating negativity with FIATS . How often can a car owner afford to visit the FASC to complete a job or fullfill their inefficiency ? Can they assume that the owners are jobless?

    I request RDC to go one step further and ensure that they have all the parts. Holding inventory a little more will be defineitly more profitable as the vehicle in question is sent out fully done in one shot and need not be attended to again and again consuming valuable labour time. Also imagine the immeasurable glee on the customers face.

    Thats a good point made Abdul.The very same thought that i have regarding the non availability of the spare parts.Can't they even have a inventory of single piece RR winder with them. Is this a problem with FIAT or Dealer ?

    Thats what everyone all over the country feels for years regarding Fiat spares.
    Please FIAT, make the service centers hold some set of all possible parts that might fail in any car.
    Dont make us order parts and wait for them,,or atleast make the order process transparent.
