Am I reading the thread little late? ... .... I have left my Tjet for Accident repair at RDC...... My experience until now has been pleasant.... Much better than concorde ECR;.... probably TAFE was slightly better till this point..... but to give a complete picture...will have to wait till I get my car back.

Guys visited RDC today to check the works on my car. They have started the work and will deliver the car to me by next week.

No space at all to even walk inside RDC. This is the scenario as of now.

Guys are working overnight to deliver the car that they have promised to customer. I will never blame them for parking problem but either ways it is not right to callback the customer and ask them to come another day when their slots are booked already.

RDC should stop taking accidental damages cars or move those cars to some other place. More than 30-40 cars are parked for damage and some cars for weeks due to accidental damages which congest the place.

    RDC Fiat experience

Got my Linea yesterday evening from RDCFiat after 15K 2nd free service.
They have miles and miles to go before we can be very satisfied with them.
As given in earlier posts they called me the day before my booking date (which I got after 3 weeks!) and requested me to reschedule- I said NO WAY - cos my vehicle had already crossed 15K and I was concerned about the warranty clauses.
Anyways I drove in at 8.30 AM being 2nd in line. As expected CONFUSION. I guess 50% of the time of the folks in RDCFiat is taken up by juggling around the cars in and out! They really need to move to a more spacious place! I saw about 100 cars and said OMG! Considering that they mentioned they take ONLY 10 cars per day (though I saw 20 Cars listed in the board outside which shows cars for the day)- this means that there is a HEAVY back log - especially with repair/accident vehicles. God forbid I get into that unwelcome class!

In any case my vehicle was checked in - no major defects, only brake pads/rotors to be changed apart from routine 15K service - the SA Dhanesh - who was quite pleasant and apologetic throughout(!)- mentioned that they would have the vehicle ready by 7 PM same day -which I took with a HUGE pinch of salt! Late afternoon I got a call from the SA with the estimates and also that car would be ready by 7 PM. Accordingly I reached RDC Fiat by 6 PM. But he said that during Test drive they detected wobbling and need to get the wheel alignment done. So delivery would be tomorrow. Anyway next day I got the vehicle with most of the issues attended. (they did not have spare windshield washer tubing kit).

What was shocking was the labour charges they are charging. I do know that the bread and butter of the automobile dealership is in servicing but there is a limit. To whit :

Labour charges for replacement of Brake pads and disk : Rs.1,500
Labour charges for consumables : Rs.180 (don't know why they charge this as it is supposed to be free for 2nd service!)
Labour charges for wheel alignment : Rs.450 (I guess this is reasonable)

The happy part is that they seem to have done a good job and I'm quite satisfied with the quality of service - though of course - only time will tell!

Labour charges are way too high.

And, if you have done free service, Wheel Alignment is covered under free service. They shouldn't charge for that.

Are you sure these are labor charges? For 15k Service( 2nd Service) Labor is supposed to be free while they charge for consumables like oil, filter etc etc.

1500 rs for changing brake pads? Did they change the disc as well? How much did they charge for the spares? Pads\discs
Why are you changing them so early anyways?

    tasting the Italian delight!
