    Absolutely. I am for what you said!

    Other than Mr Shravan, who is the CRM there, I could not see the passion in anybody working there. Tensingh was full of energy in the initial days, where-in I used to ask him to complete his "other" works and then come to my car, he used to say, "What other work for me other than solving your issue?". But now, he ignores calls, give namesake answers when I report my issues to him. RDC has changed his attitude.

    Two classic examples.

    My 75HP is at the workshop for a week, while RDC is "trying" to solve the pickup/mileage/turbo issue. Car lies there without being attended to for 5 days and work begins to happen after I am physically present there. I have reported the symptom and issue while the job card is done itself and even then they call me for 'n' TDs and start afresh, Sir, what is the issue?!

    1) Tensingh was TDing and was giving me an excuse like because this is a VGT, you won't know when the turbo kicks in, I was shell shocked and said that this is a freaking FGT and where is the turbo action now? He then kept quiet and accepted that there is a turbo leak. Even after that, after parking in the workshop, he says, you can take your car now, if there is an oil leak in the intercooler again, then we will see. I said nothing doing, we cannot wait, there are enough symptoms even now for you to work. After that, car was there for 2 days, and all they did was clamp adjustments and I could see maybe a 10% improvement in the pickup. The kick was still not felt.

    2) There is a starting problem with the 90HP. I report it to Tensingh and he says, We need to check battery. I said battery is fine, checked multiple times and there are no signs of battery weakness in the car, and then he says he cannot think of any other thing. He says he might send battery to Exide, I said Thank You and walked away. Right way to diagnose is to hook up the examiner and read the error codes. Most probably it is a low pressure in injector error. But things are just brushed away.

    All these made me decide no RDC again, though I live in Chennai.

    Guys i was there in RDC today. Hell lot of cars. Today they were around 100+ cars lying there. I left my punto for Rust problem all over the car and my cooling coil is gone kaput which will be replaced in warranty.EGR and intercooler cleaning which was denied by Anil during my 30k service as he said it was not necessary, will be done now as Tensing found the car to be noisy. Even there is a problem in the electric fan as it creates lots of vibration on the car.
    And finally my seat rattling issue is still not fixed after 3 visits to them.

    My car was personally invistigated and the Job Sheet was filled by Mr.Tensing as i told them clearly that Tensing needs to address my car personally as i have been coming to RDC again and again for the same issues.

    Until Ramkay Fiat service opens at Perungudi, it would be Vecto Motors, Bangalore or True Sai works, Salem.

    For impotent people at service centres who are not able to even trouble shoot simple mechanical issues, I sure am considering Harish. Both cars are just serviced anyway and have quite a distance to go!

  6. Carzcare was a good place. The only concern is that they are using Wurth oils instead of the ones that are used by Fiat. Once my friend bought all the oils from TASS and gave it to them. The service was good. Way better than TASS at that time.

    I called FIAT yesterday and emailed them as well. Yet to get any response from them. But one glance at this thread, all of us would agree that RDC is going the worse day by day. Surprised that they cheat customers and overcharge them.

    Yesterday after reading this thread, I called RDC and asked them why should I change the clutch kit as it was replaced only on the 3rd service. Then the answer came that "Reverse gear is a bit hard, thats why I suggested to change the kit." So no one has even looked at the clutch before asking me to replace it.

    More over, these guys are charging 650 for examiner. Isn't this covered as part of the Major Service labour charges itself? On top of that Break cleaning is charged at 650/-, water wash at 400/-

    This is open looting.

  8. And now it seems like RDC is way better than FIAT Customer support. Always their systems are down...Finally spoke to a senior advisor by the name Kiran. He confirmed that he ll talk to RDC Fiat and he ll get back on the issues that I had reported. Let see how it goes!!!
  9. Its opposite to AKDR golf club...had been there once to check the engine guard noise on my linea....they fixed it quite fast...
    My friend's puto was serviced there....only a general service....

    I ll be going to take my car back from service around 5 PM today. Would be great if I can meet team fiat members if somoene also has plans to be at RDC service center...

    I took my car all the way to bangalore to do intercooler and EGR cleaning by Harish of pride cars as I don't want to take any chance with TASS guys. I am very much impressed by his work and found my 700 KMS drive for the sake of service is worth.
