    @Driv3R,

you are so attached to your car that you are waiting in the SC the entire day just like some one waiting in hospital for a loved one to get cured. Wish your car be back with all the problems solved.

RDC is having a problem with space and they are finding it difficult to manage all the cars. They are doing the best they can do with what they have. I went there to get my suspension noise solved, seems to be a problem with struts and I have to wait for the part to arrive.

Just dropped an e-mail to FIAT. Have done enough waiting and lost my patience which is being tested.

@DRIV3R - I've sent the link across to RDC higher-up, I'm hoping he is going to have a look into this. Let's hope for the best, It's frustrating that we've to go through the same ordeal alike TATA even in a Fiat exclusive. I blame it on poor planning - 1 SC is just not enough for Chennai.

Are the existing TATA ASC's taking in Fiat cars?

re: FIAT Exclusive Service Center: RDC Fiat, Chennai

Hi teky, thanks for the help bro!

And no, none of the TASS take in Fiats now. Hence there is a predicted overload. RDC should follow FCFS queue system and ensure that there are only 'n' cars inside their workshop at any point. They can really take a leaf or two out of Vecto motors book to learn on organizing and planning of infrastructure and workforce.

Its sad to here that you are being made to run around day in and day out for your car. The least they could have done was given you a proper deadline and delivered the veicle as promised.

+1 to that. They would need to learn a lot from Vecto motors and it is not just limited to organizing and planning. The service I have received in Prerana has always left me impressed.

The following incident blew my top today morning.

    byvabuda.jpg

Please note that the car was not on a lift, and one side of the bumper was removed.

Since this was near the exit, I was having a look at my car from the outside. It was painful to me as one side of the bumper was removed and the guy was trying to hammer something near the intercooler. I could see that the right side of the bumper being stressed and it could result in a temporary misalignment and probably a broken lock or two.

As Tensingh came by, I gently requested him, sir, please don't take me wrong, but wouldn't the bumper be stressed if it's being worked upon in this fashion? Pat came a rude answer from him. This is how we do, we have a process for everything, I can do only which is easy for me. And this is why we do not let customers inside the workshop.

Bloody hell, why is your customer coming everyday commuting 30 freaking kms on a two wheeler to check the status of his vehicle, which is at your workshop for a week?

Add to it your incompetence of trouble shooting a turbo problem.

Just because you freaking don't keep up the word, deadline, nothing, the customer is made to come to check on the vehicle out of concern. Moreover, I never entered the workshop, I was watching it from outside and while this was happening a vip customer's T Jet was hushed into the workshop and immediately worked upon with the customer standing beside the car. The customer was a friend of the GM and hence.

I can very well contest that the whole bumper should be removed for this process, but I care two hoots. Just letting you guys know what treatment a genuine customer is given.

Better live with your Turbo problem for few days and take it to bangalore FASS like you said when we were discussing the other day.

Sorry state of affairs. Fiat need to pay attention to this immediately and also speed up the process of more dealerships in Chennai.

As said by Naveen, why don't you go to Vecto in Bangalore? We need peace of mind at the end of the day.
