That's a very low salary, how will a guy survive in Chennai with a monthly salary of 6000Rs a month?
I do not even know if this salary is in tune with the labour laws.

I have done checkups for my car from Mohandas motors, Trivandrum number of times and I have never been charged anything for that. They have even offered free car wash and interior cleaning couple of times.

Last year I left my car in Ramkay's for the following issues:

    1) less pickup below the turbo zone with worst FE ( 8.5-12 kmpl in the city and 18-20 @80 kmph in highways with AC on. This car used to return anything above 23 kmpl in the highway @80 kmph with AC on.)
    2) Blue and me issue, which has got corrected on its own before reaching the SC. Still I wanted to make sure B & M works fine.
    3) AC cooling issue.
    4) Checkup as the car was invaded by rats!!!

They gave me a bill of Rs 1741.00 along with an answer " Sir, your car has no problem and it is doing fine". The problem 1 was still there and it was rectified during my third service done at Mohandas motors, Trivandrum. I am attaching the bill here. What say guys? I feel their charges are on the higher side.

Rs. 300 for Blue&Me checking? This is atrocious. What do they do with the wiring correction?

The WORST service experience from Ramkay Agencies. Sukanya, the CRM is another dumb female with no proper response nor attention towards customer.

I drove down from Rajahmundry in AP to get my 2009 GP E pack+ for its scheduled 90k service.

I was left with 3 alternatives 1st option was to take it Bhubaneshwar, 2nd was to Hyderabad and 3rd to Chennai.

As my earlier experiences with Hyderabad was fresh in my mind, I did not wish to get the car mishandled so I chose Chennai.

I booked for service online. CRM calls and converses in tamil. Luckily, my friend helped in talking to her and the appointment was fixed.

With Service booked I drove to Chennai.

Since there was time after reaching Chennai, I was going through the tfi posts on service station reviews, in specific the last few pages related to Ramkay Agencies....which changed my mind and made an online request to RDC, Chennai at Ambattur point based on the satisfactory reviews on tfi.

There was no response from them. I waited for a day before taking the car to Ramkay Agencies. Since there was no call, I had no other option to take my car to Ramkay Agencies.

I was asked to bring the car by 9 - 9.30 am so that the car can be delivered on the same day. By 9.30am the car was parked at the service bay.

NO ONE BOTHERED TO ATTEND TILL 11.00 am. The car was finally handed over after the initial work like job card, inquiring about other troubles etc., and the car was taken inside around 11.45am.

I started receiving calls from 3.45 pm onwards asking me to take the delivery of the car. Ramkay Agencies deliver the cars before sunset was what the SA said.

I was shocked at the way the billing was done. Earlier, for 75k service I was in Bangalore and got it serviced at Vecto Motors, Bangalore. Service was satisfactory right from the reception to the exit and the car was handled neatly so was the billing.

Ramkay Agencies have STOOPED to low and mean ways to increase their revenue source.

Handling of the car was AWFUL. Rear seats were soiled with oil marks. (do not know what they did)

SA was not available to talk. Sukanya, CRM after booking appointment DID NOT respond nor was available.

Vowing NEVER to return to Ramkay Agencies, Chennai, I paid the bill and returned.

What's more worse was a assistant turns up as I get into the car and requests to give their Service rating "10" when I get a call from Fiat India.

I already wrote to Fiat India and am waiting for their response on this issue.

Beautiful technological product handled by poor and substandard service out to KILL THE BRAND.

Hope Fiat India concentrates on its service stations.

    The bill explains:

PS: I was touring to post this earlier..

  6. You could have gone straight to RDC Ambattur not taking an appointment. They are not crowded.

Taking back my words. Mr. Arun SA, never informed about the non availability of consumables such as Power Steering Oil, Coolant, Transmission fluid which were due to be replaced during 2nd year 30,000k service. He did not bother to reply me even. i was in a hurry to take delivery and was not in a position to check each action item in the list.

Upon scanning the invoice in more detail and without finding the above mentioned replacements/topups mentioned, i called him up. His one single word of covering up his faults. SORRY.

I was pissed off. Upon further questioning, as to why he did not inform and what if the customer, like i had gone through each action item, had not gone through and left it as it is in the HOPE that SERVICE CENTER's would have taken care every single detail for which we pay them, he was dumb absolutely no answer.

    This is SHOCKING !!!

Don't we have the feedback call from FIAT which we used to get in TATA days? I am yet to go for my first service for my T-Jet.

Looking at all these things I can say that service during TATA days was much much cheaper and better.

    Thanks
    Gopi

They still do it. You will get call from Fiat.

Exactly the same thing happened to me too. I did not notice when I left the service station but noticed it later. Again, my SA was also Mr. Arun. I had to visit them again for the Gear/Transmission/Coolant/brake oil replacement. They wasted another day for me.

As it was new at Chennai, I did not take a chance. I was staying at Anna nagar near the RDC showroom. I enquired in person there. They were least bothered to answer.

Having booked online at Ramkay Agencies, I did not wish to lose the appointment made online. Hyderabad handling is worse, so I preferred Chennai.

Showroom is in progress at Rajahmundry, AP, on the N H Road and would take couple of months to be ready and my next service is due for 1,05,000 kms.
