I don't get this. You will be happy only if couple of people take delivery happily?
Having read about Ramkay in this forum, and being my first visit I was just expecting some positive signs at the service centre.
Is that a very high expectation ?
Not at all. But, feedback should be based on your experience only and not based on others without knowing the exact issue.
DRIV3R - Nothing against you, but seeing the general trend here it seems Ramkay are a bit overcharging. But what is the comparison based against, as requested in the thread previously if someone can tell us what competitors charge we can quantify this else we are just spreading a negative perception around. This labor rates should be fixed by Fiat and made official to avoid all these confusion to be honest.
Earlier we had TASC charging less and provide okay service we complained against Fiat, Now they charge a bit extra and we again complain against Fiat. It's always proved that Fiat is the most loved and hated brand as well.
OK ramjn, got the point! Going forward I shall post my personal experience alone.
I do not know how you interpreted the post, my point was that Ramkay is not charging like they did when they were relatively new.
Not sure if you came across this info, but seems like Fiat has already defined the labor rates in the DMS system.
If you do not have any qualms to pay 175 plus taxes as labor for just adjusting the handbrake or sticking up something on the car with Fevi Qwik, then I do not know what to say. Nobody is complaining about general labor rates here, it is instances like the above mentioned and fitting of accessories like in the case of 'tiaf'.
I too feel that Ramkay, or for that matter any other FASS, must display Fiat approved labour rates at their workshops. Probably it would bring in homogenisation of service charges and won't leave customers in any doubt.
I think you did read the first line of my post mate - This wasn't against you, just quoted your post. But as I said standardization across FASC will be the next move which Fiat should make.
Got a positive reponse from Fiat India regarding displaying of rates at the service centers.
We would like to inform that there are three free services and labour for same is free with regard to paid labour will be charged as per Fiat Labour rates picked from Fiat DMS also we welcome your suggestion. Fiat team is already working on display of labor schedule at customer reception in workshop that will be implemented in near future
With warm regards
Fiat Customer care
That's great, so what gurjinder mentioned is true. Labor rates are defined in DMS already, it's upto the customer to demand if the dealer is charging as specified.
