    I wish they should. I feel that contrary to others Ramkay have a very good stocking of parts. I see that the whole issue is with the SA. He should have been aware what is there with them and what needs to be changed in the car. Spares dept. guys doesn't care much about the fitments.

    I also received this communication. Both Email and Hard mail. :)

    Now you will know why am so much in anger with the ramkay guys? SA's know nothing about cars or FIAT's. I got my electic fan replaced by RDC to 9fin from 7fin. And it took them 4days for the parts to arrive and they called me to inform that your part has arrived and i can get a replacment done.

    I immediately took the car very next day and got the fan replaced within 4hrs. I dont know why RDC guys are good with me than other person.

    That's because you have rapport with Mechanics, SA, CRM and the MD of RDC. ;)

    Yeah man, and I also know that other than your car's body shell, everything is replaced atleast once. :evilsmile Just kidding. Your fan kit was replaced twice if am not wrong. I remember you complained about fan noise at VST many times and only then it was changed.

    Or we can re-phrase it as, Why a majority of them are unhappy with the RDC experience. :)

  6. DRIV3R why not you quit the SA magesh and find some other SA to service your car. He is a nuisance. I have dealt only with SA ARUN, the only SA other than magesh in Ramkay. This guy Arun though he is not brilliant he doesn't try to fool you like Magesh. He listens to the customer patiently and doesn't say the typical SA statement "This is how it is in all the Cars sir" or any stupid statement like "Clutch slip is because you use the Aluminium pads on the Clutch pedal". But He doesn't talk much technically, all he does is note down the complaints and says will get them checked. And also he is prompt when he promises a Call back. Yesterday I have given my car for the timing chain replacement in Ramkay. Though it took more than a week for the parts to arrive, he didn't make any false promise or fooling around with stupid reasons. He is not as good like 10sing though but comparing him to other SAs I have dealt with in VST, TAFE and Concord this guys is better.

  8. There is no options as such anywhere AFAIK. If not satisfied with one SA, escalate the issue to higher like a Senior SA or to the manager and specify this guy need not deal with our car anymore stating this guy is not knowledgeable and get the car attended by someone else. I think this is the right way of giving a negative feedback for a SA at the same time we will get a peace of mind for our car getting into a better hands. Next time make sure the right guy makes the Job card for you.

    Come on Bharath. I waited forever for just side mirror caps from RDC. The other day DRIV3R just walked in at Ramkay and walked out with mirror caps in mins.
    Not to forget my suspension noise issue, There was no intimation from RDC regarding the spares arrival. I had to check with them directly and confirm about the spares availability and they took 3 complete days to change link rods and coil spring.

    I would never ever believe that RDC gave you a call regarding spare part arrival and also fixed it in 4 hours.Its the best joke I could ever hear :evilsmile

    Regarding the SAs at Ramkay, I guess they are equivalent to RDC. I vote for Ramkay at least for stocking the spares.

    I also suggest that you talk to the Mechanics at Ramkay directly. They don't stop you from entering the workshop and talking to them unlike RDC.

  10. That is infact a right thing to do, but the trick here is SAs will not like it. They like the work to be done on their command and if at all the SA was wrong and your input was right and if the SA comes to know about this, he would not allow the mech to do the job as per our input. But the probability is lesser so you can really talk to the mechanic. But for the Spares and Timings mechs will not have an answer for which you have to rely on the SA.
