    @Kedar, Mandar is not a good SA, he just bluffs around the stuff most of the times. I dont want to rant about an individual on a public forum, but then one solid advice that I would want to put in for people who give their vehicles off to Pandit (Tilak Road), carefully have a look at your bill and if possible always do a complete check of the car along with a drive test with the SA. If you donot have time to do it, then best thing to do is not to take delivery of the car and push the same for the next day.
    I have also reported about Pandit to FIAT indicating to them that their service centers put in charges on the bills without even solving the problem.

    guys there is one best person in pandit auto tilak road. but he doesnt deal with customers directly since he is promoted. if u approach him and if he is not in a good mood he will say " please speak to babar or anil etc"

    His name is Rahul Jadhav, he knows fiat in and out.

    Second good person is Babar and then Anil. they have some good technicians but you need to be present in front of your car and keep motivating them :)

    I agree to Italia-Linea. You have to stand near your car and get it done whatever you want. My personal experience.

    I have good experience with Anil.

    I have just left my car at Pandit for following problems. Rahul is promoted so he doesnt take the cars. Mandar has taken my car today, lets see how it goes.

    Problems reported -
    1. Hard gear shift (gear shifting/engaging ok, but lever very hard in neutral - moving sideways)
    2. Front suspension noise and steering rack noise - check struts, suspension mounts
    3. Car jumping even with slight release of clutch

    I got my 3rd free service done at Pandit Auto on the 17th . The SA was Chaitanya , a new guy . Very polite and patient and noted down every issue I had . Informed me that the delivery of the car might get extended to the next day because addressing few of the mentioned issues might take time .

    But the delivery was given on the same day by 4 PM . All issues addressed to full satisfaction . Car was super clean and tyres were polished . INteriors were cleaned very well .

    Total bill came upto 4500

    Issues :
    Hard gear shift
    car shuddering during initial pick up in the 1st gear
    AC knob wouldnt turn all the way to the hottest temp
    car vibration when the AC fan switches on
    car pulling towards the left
    car having issues during cold start probably because a few weeks ago my car was topped up with diesel by mistake , so had asked them to check if there was any issue .No more cold start problem BTW
    false reverse gear engage , needed to pul teh level really hard in order to engage in reverse .

    All the issues have been addressed and for a change am very very happy with the way the entire service was carried out .

    yes the new guys is very good. he is an engineer. i met him during my 2nd service and he had come for interview that day. very genuine guy.

    by the way what was this shuddering in 1st gear issue?

    I reckon the hard gear shift issue is solved. What was the solution?

    Mine gear shift / engagement is ok, but the lever is hard when you move in horizontal direction. The advisor - Mandar said that there is one cable which runs needs to be replaced. He is not sure of delivery time. So in all it took me 15 days to get appointment, another 10 days atleast to get the part, and then again 10-15 days to get appointment to fix the problem.

    Advisor didnt give me a call to inform, I had to chase up to find details. Will be visiting in afternoon to check.

    I got my car on Friday. They checked for the suspension noise, struts etc and found to be ok. They have replaced some clutch part, things look ok now, the car does not jump at half clutch. Hard gear shift problem not solved yet, apparently some cable needs to be changed and its not available. They have placed order for same.

    Washing and polishing was done excellent. But....when I took cat out of Pandit Auto and switched on AC, I noticed that the AC fins (on centre console, right side) were broken. Damn, this must have been caused during the polishing of the interiors.

    Called back Mandar and informed him. I brought the car back and showed the breakage. He tried to argue that I should have checked prior to leaving, but after I sternly told him it was a "workshop damage" he agreed and took photographs and promised to replace. Apparently, the entire set (for AC fins) needs to be changed. He said he will place order and inform me once its available. So wait begins.

    But overall I think the service is gone up some notches. There are nos displayed in the area for escalations etc (not sure how much effective it will be).

    The gear cable assembly part arrived and got it replaced. Gear shift is now like super super butter smooth, amazing experience. The cost of assembly is around 5500Rs. Got replaced in warranty.

    They also replaced the AC vents which the polish guy had accidently broken. The quality of AC vent plastic is good, looks bit more stronger. Alas! when I was riding back I noticed that AC isnt cooling :( Even when AC knob is turned to 3 or 4 there is NO cold air from blower. From left AC vent almost warm air is coming out. Spoke to advisor and taking car again tomorrow.

    My main problem of gear shift resolved, I'm just loving the gear shift. But it seems like fixing one is opening other. I just hope they fix the AC thing without opening any other.

    My Experience with Pandit Auto is Pathetic for Service. My Punto's Left Sun visor broke down while I was removing the plastic. Completely my mistake as I used power instead of soft hand to remove its plastic cover.
    On next day I went to Pandit Auto Tilak Road to fit the new Sun Visor. I got the reply from Mr. Naik very Calm and Polite person that it is available at their Akurdi Center and asked me to call in next week till they will order it from there.
    When I had called on next week I got reply that it is not yet available. After calling 3 to 4 times I received replies that it is out of Stock and call again in next week. When I again called there person Sachin very shred and arrogant and replied with his characteristic that part is not available and not sure when it will be available to them. I asked him to order it and give me order number but he refused to do so.
    I have registered complaint as I have strong objection on way of talking by that person to Fiat.
    I got replaced my sun visor from Accuman Motors and will make first servicing from there only.
